i have a question that was kind of answered in another thread but i always like to get the word of the yardies

if we do an interview in january, do we have to bring an '09 tax return?

Thanks for sparing the text. Apparently, one time my mother wanted me to let her know when I arrived safely. I made a big deal out of the cost of that text, and when I did send it, it said "Made it safely. PLEASE do not text me back!" So the next trip, she asked me to let her know when I made it and not to worry: she won't text me.

If I call the DHL number, the answering service indicates that their offices are open from 9 to 1 on Saturdays. However, this site indicates that only one of the Kingston offices is open at all on Saturday. So we won't know until 9:05 or so if he'll be able to come back.

Nat I'm like on the edge of my seat wondering what will happen. I'm praying the recorded line is correct and the website is wrong. Man oh man so you mean to tell me you could have grabbed the Visa yesterday?? Aghhh. U sure you can't call in (cough) (cough) sick on Monday.

As far as getting it yesterday, I'm quite frustrated at that. I also don't get DHL's tracking website. How is the status "Shipment on Hold" for several days, then changes to "Arrived at DHL facility in Montego Bay." Where are the intermediate status updates??? And how come I signed up for an alert when it arrived in MoBay, yet still haven't received a text or email??

Anyway, it's 9:02. Time to make that phone call... (The SWV song "Weak" is in my mind.)

OMG English that little girl is too precious!!! They should take your pics and send them to some modeling agencies. We might see her in the next commercial or on tv.

I'm telling you girl your good. A lady at work wants to take pics and she brought me in some samples. It took everything in me not to tell her to keep her day job.

Ladies I think I have had it with VJ. I can't take it I have to get my daughter to her cheerleading game but I can't move until I get an update on Nat

I called DHL. The customer service lady (Kerri-Ann or Terri-Ann) told me that the package is in the head office in Kingston. I told her the website says that it's in Montegy Bay and went out for delivery last night, which seemed strange since we opted for pick-up. She said that the Montego Bay location is closed on weekends, but it will be available for pick up Monday morning.

I asked if there is anything we can do, because we need the visa in that package in order to fly out today. We're willing to pay extra. She said she'll call the manager and see if he will extend the service. They wouldn't charge extra for that, she said; give her an hour.

So the waiting is extended.

I feel like we should be driving to Mo Bay now, but 1) we don't know if Steven needs to say goodbye to his family/friends and 2) we don't know if we need to bring all of his luggage or not.

LOL I'm tempted. But he has 3 bags & when we go to MoBay, I'll be returning the rental. So then he'd have to get all 3 bags back to Negril on a bus/taxi.

As soon as he finishes showering, we're gonna load the car and go drive to his family/friends. At least that way, we can be ready to leave when the lady calls back.
