I guess I am lucky with DJ in that he's an adventurous eater and willing to try new things - Most trips we split the cooking, and I have brought stuff from home like Peanut sauce to cook with - he loves it, loves my chicken caccitore - The only thing I have ever seen him turn his nose up at was this last trip - they had a flan for dessert - he didn't want any, I was eating my dessert and fed him a bite - we had to leave the table so he could spit it out, said he thought he was gonna puke

Bunz, that subject is just one that hits close to my heart - If there was ever something I could murder someone over, it would be that - it pains me to no end that there are murderers walking around. I can understand fleeing cause of fear for his life - but flee to the station!

Yesterday I cooked curried shrimp & onion, served with biscuits. Today I made acorn squash stuffed with apples, walnuts, and honey. Steven didn't like either one. Today he said, "Is this the type of food you cook?" I said, "Yup!" I promise you, both are SO DELICIOUS. I'm loving my acorn squash.

Sounds good to me! But Lehi doesn't like some of the things I cook either & I also think they're good dishes. I make BOMB eggplant parmesan but he was having no part of it.

I'm not the best cook but grilled chicken or pasta. Damien loved mac&cheese, spaghetti and different pastas when he start got here.

I couldnt' get Andre to eat any pastas. Pretty much nothing with sauces. He did love Chinese food.

LMAO SHemmy - did you make him my portabella caps yet? I have a stuffed mushroom recipe I have to find and post - no bread crumbs in it - so yummy.

Nat - one of the first things I cooked for DJ was as follows -

Took some onion and garlic, sauteed it in a bit of oil - Added in sliced chicken and browned it - then added some carrots, peppers, white wine, and tomatoes chopped and let it slow cook - served it over rice - he loved it

I would love that. Andre would smell the garlic and wrinkle his nose....refuse to eat it.

I'll give a few things a try... but then again, it's been great having him cook so much, so I may NOT try too hard & just eat what he cooks... even if it is WAAAAAAAY more starchy than my typical eating (rice, potatoes, flour, & bread are ingredients he's using a lot, that I never use). His food has been quite delicious, though. Today he made pumpkin rice with curry shrimp. He took the leftover curry shrimp I made yesterday (that he didn't like for some reason) and added a lot of stuff to it.

Better get used to the rice, potatos, and flour.

Of course they wont kill off Victor and Nikki is back but she is going by her maiden name Reed! He professed his love for her from the hospital bed and now they are apart so we know how this will end up. I agree...But the point I guess I am trying to make is that there are some things that should NEVER be done. You don't date a friend's ex man, or a co-worker's ex man or a relative's ex man etc etc......

Here is the recipe - It works best with the breadcrumbs, but you can leave them out - since it makes about 20 or so mushrooms, it's a minute amount of carbs - I chop the stems fine in the food processor so they look like breadcrumbs

Saute chopped stems and a little onion and parsley in a couple tablespoons of butter. Stir in about 1/2 cup flavored breadcrumbs and one beaten egg. Add salt and pepper to taste. Spoon into mushroom caps and pour some tomato sauce ( either Hunts tomato sauce or leftover spaghetti sauce) over top of each mushroom. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes till done.

no jae..this had nothing to do w/ their issue per se.. i was only discussing the whole statement of NEVER DATING an ex of a friend, i had to think about it.. i could see situations where it MIGHT just happen, and i don't know if i would always go by that rule myself..

It seems to be agreed that Renee and Kelly were friends, enough to stay with Kelly and come down here.

It seems to be agree that Renee met Craig through Kelly.

Renee knows that Craig is or was married to Kelly.

Let's say Kelly was a racist btch who was highly abusive to Craig who was indeed a loving caring man who had been deeply wronged.

Let's say Renee found out that Kelly was the 'bad' one and Craig was the victim in all of this.

And for argument's sake, let's say Renee found out Kelly was a two faced hypocrite etc etc and not a real friend.

Why put the pic on FB? I looked and looked at it, and it doesn't seem to be two good friends hanging out. (I could be WRONG!)
