Mstee, do you have a head start program in your area? My sister had my 5 year old nephew evaluated - cause at two, all he would say was NO! LOL - By the tests, his speech and intelligence were fine, he's just hard headed - But they provide services free of charge if they qualify - Most states have a birth to three program, or Head Start - Look at your state's Dept of Education website

Anyone watching the Hip Hop Honors? I have my kids cracking up while I'm doing the cabbage patch, snake and kid n play. Wow a girl has got too big I feel like I'm having a asthma attack and they are cracking up at me. I told them this was the stuff back in my day. Wait back in my day hell I sound old.

I would rather stick a fork in my eye then watch ANY awards show!

How about this for messed up relationship story? One of my friends called me last night for advice - He left on a business trip - came home to find the house cleared out, his wife gave away his dogs (pure bred Rottis, from Germany, mega $), and filed for divorce - He loves those dogs - bad enough to leave him and do all that - You had to give away his dogs?

I use mine all the time JG! It lives inside of my big bag and then when I go somewhere and don't want to lug my big purse (like a bar) I just drop my cell phone, lip gloss and money in my wristlet and I'm good to go!

Think of it this way Bunz...would you rather pay the $5000 JA to reassure everybody that the beneficiary is FREE TO MARRY...OR...would you rather you go through the trouble of this whole process & get married, only to find out later that your marriage is invalid because "the love of your life" never got a divorce from their previous marriage.... I'll take it...Think about the time/money/feelings spent when it's too late...

What's bizarre to me about this is you need it for a K1 - but you don't need it to get married in JA - if it were truly to validate that the person is free to marry, why wouldn't you need to get it before you marry, and not just immigration? That makes me feel its just an easy way to make money =

Maybe they think you need it in the US to show when you apply for the marriage license. Even though you don't.

Cause really, if you marry within 90 days and only use your passport with the visa stuck in it, how would they run any kind of search on previous marriages?????

ok ladies i have a question if you are friends a guy and then he introduces you to his future wife because he wants her to know his friends . you become friends with her .... and have remained neutral through there ups and downs through the marriage now that they decide to break up with you continue the friendship with both parties ...( i have remained friends with both parties just looking to see what you guys think)

Yes. If I am truly friends with both parties, I do not see the reason to have to choose.

Yes speech therapy... We did it for my nephew and he is going to be 7. Started early (early intervention). Ask his doctor if they can recommend a speech therapist.

JG Check out the flea market on St. Charles Rock Road. It is open Friday, Sat. and Sun. You can by Gucci, Prada, Coach purses, shoes, anything. The vendors come from Chi town and NYC, etc.

It is sooo funny, but about a month after he gets here you will be wondering how is it possible that you guys feel like an old married couple...somehow everything just falls into place. That's what it was like for us.

LOL @ Dada doing the cabbage patch....I was watching peeking through one eye I was sleepy but I got through it. DMX was really good I enjoyed his performance, soon come with the run down......

MsTee...Please don't think you have offended me, because you have not. I honestly love the discussions. Everyone's journey in life, their experiences which shape their opinions and attitudes, are different. As long as everyone's got some "act right" in 'em it's all good! I hope that we will always be able to discuss relevant and sensitive topics in an open-minded manner, and that we are all able to respect one another's opinions and hopefully learn something from one another! He did NOTHING - worked his butt off, she was a society chick, played tennis, got her nails done, went for massages - he paid for a housekeeper, etc... he is one of the true good men who gave his ALL -
