Quick rant for the day!

Just was on lunch & surfing around a little...checked out the Negril.com board & realized why I hate it. Tourists (yes, I realize technically I'm one too) have WAY too rosy a view of the whole scene there. What got me today is reading how the guy Dennis at the hammock park is such a nice, great, wonderful, special man. He may be if you're a group of tourists from Idaho, but if you go in there with your Jamaican fiance & his cousin, he's a total a$$hole! On so many occasions, we've been treated like ####### by the same people all these tourists rave about. It just makes me sick to my stomach to read the raving reviews about these people when I've seen the other side & know it's bull$hit. Okay, thanks for reading....rant over.

Wow, Ells. Chill my friend. Let's put it this way.....Dennis is trying to make a buck. Is it really a bad thing for people to rave about any part of JA? Let them enjoy their time and sell it to others. Now, if she (I assume a she) is wanting to run off and marry him, maybe you should be ranting. But, otherwise, so what? You know what I am saying?

i don't think so....i think i got it done shortly after that when i was 20.....so i have had it in for a long time...i wouldn't think it would close up even if i took it out since it has been pierced so long

I was just thinking the same thing. My hubby made me take my "one" piercing out when we first met. That was my favorite piercing too, especially when I was stuck in a long meeting or in traffic. I know TMI

You know, it's funny - when I got mine done, I had a long conversation with the piercer - she told me that whether you do a bar or a ring should depend on the shape of your naval - cause some people do a ring when their naval isn't deep enough - then it hurts cause it heals crooked. I never had any pain or issues with mine, and I expected to based on what I had heard.

Don't know how to quote 2 things, but LOL @ MsTee saying to take my fiance for chinese because they always have rice. That is a good point. I'll ask him. Waiting to hear you are approved!!

Chinese would probably be a good one - DJ loves chinese food - there is a place in Mo Bay he always wants to go to - It's not the same as what I find here, but good.

There were 2 in MoBay I liked. But, yeah, neither the same as here.

Well good morning Yardies! Just wanted to say hi to everyone before my day gets started. I told Steve that everyone wished us luck and he says to tell of all you thank you! We said a prayer together last night and he started his journey to Kingston at 3am this morning! His mother will be travelling with him and he has an uncle in Kingston who will be waiting for him for the news.. So now, the fun begins! Likkle more yardies!
