msTee, One More Day!!

hubby brought me a nice lunch of fish and chips and veggies and now mi feel a little sexier!!!!

I went home for lunch & Steven had cooked some delicious rice with seasoning, butter, & turmeric, along with rib eye steak cut into pieces cooked with scotch bonnet, turmeric, carrots, & other seasonings. It was delicious.

Tomorrow, I'm cooking stuffed mirliton (aka cho cho or chayote squash). I'll stuff it with shrimp, crumbled crackers, and whatever I find around the kitchen.

We're doing good. So far the hardest thing has been eating out at resteraunts. My fiance wants to know why everything comes with fries and not rice. I found a Jamaican resteraunt so soon we will have to try that. He is doing really good cooking Jamaican meals at home. I just feel bad watching him cook. Today we're going Tux shopping. less than a month to go. Yikes!!!

Steven also asked why so few dishes come with rice. We went to a Mediterranean grill Saturday & I found something that came with basmati rice for him.. but most of the dishes didn't. Yesterday we went to Pappasitos for drinks after going to see Couples Retreat. He asked why there are no Black people in Houston.

So we left there and went to a Pappdeaux in a different part of town that has more diversity. We were sitting at the bar & could hear conversations of people in the dating scene. Steven commented that we were in Player-Ville, due to the things two of the men were saying/doing. Sure made me glad to be out of the Singles scene.

sus and thompson a breed soon...

 I was thinking the same thing.

Yep... Ready! That food sounds good...

Hi my2 how is your son today?

his fever is down not gone but down from yesterday ..hes not able to eat ...hes sleeping alot..im exhausted

Aww My2 he'll get better. The main thing kids do when they are not feeling well is sleep. I rather them sleep then be up and be miserable. See all the hats us moms have to wear. I tell you a mom's job is never done. He'll be fine you'll see. Its harder on us then them because as mom's we feel helpless our babies are in pain and we cant do anything about it but with some kisses ( b careful you dont get sick and some love he'll be better in no time)

yeah im trying to get sick ...and thanks his fever is going down he has tried to eat but he says everything is nasty...

Quick rant for the day!

Just was on lunch & surfing around a little...checked out the Negril.com board & realized why I hate it. Tourists (yes, I realize technically I'm one too) have WAY too rosy a view of the whole scene there. What got me today is reading how the guy Dennis at the hammock park is such a nice, great, wonderful, special man. He may be if you're a group of tourists from Idaho, but if you go in there with your Jamaican fiance & his cousin, he's a total a$$hole! On so many occasions, we've been treated like ####### by the same people all these tourists rave about. It just makes me sick to my stomach to read the raving reviews about these people when I've seen the other side & know it's bull$hit. Okay, thanks for reading....rant over.

Chiney! Is it time for part 20??

Oh my God Ells! This is so true. When I visited Negril on one of the tours, This dude at the Palms (the owner) was from Wash. DC. He treated us horribly! We made such a scene you should have heard him trying to quiet us down. He charged me for water and gave me my change back in JA. Did I pay for it in JA? Then they gave us complimentary drinks but they mysteriously showed up on the bill. Charged us double tax! It was crazy.. I told everyone off that worked for him and they kept trying to calm me down. I performed!!!! Then when I got back to the hotel, I made a big complaint to the Tour company who sponsored them. Told my group leader, told management of the hotel! Yes, I did! That incident does not move me to want to go to Negril at all.

i don't think so....i think i got it done shortly after that when i was 20.....so i have had it in for a long time...i wouldn't think it would close up even if i took it out since it has been pierced so long

mi alreadi take 2 other piercings out :blush:boobies.gif

I was just thinking the same thing. My hubby made me take my "one" piercing out when we first met. That was my favorite piercing too, especially when I was stuck in a long meeting or in traffic. I know TMI

So I guess you enjoyed a " traffic jam".. U probably was the only one smiling going to work after sitting in traffic for a hour....

But you would think that would be the one piercing he would want you to keep.

I know. He told me I did not NEED it. That is like saying you don't NEED Rum Cream
