Don't they make you take them out for any time of procedure? That's why mine closed up. They insisted I have the damn thing completely out (not even that filler thing). Anesthesia closed up the hole then. Never bothered to redo it.

i don't think so....i think i got it done shortly after that when i was 20.....so i have had it in for a long time...i wouldn't think it would close up even if i took it out since it has been pierced so long
