I have a hair question? Does anyone know how to do individual braids(Extensions)?? I need to know how to make it tight at the root

When you have the three strands of hair you need to start the braid, you have to include some of the natural hair into one of the strands and remember to grip it tightly! Its hard to explain, more of a technique. Maybe Youtube has videos you can watch to show you how to do it

Hubby and I were talking last night about circumcision and whether or not we will chose to circumcize our child in the event we have a boy.

How do you guys feel about it? Is it true that most Jamaican men born in Jamaica are not circumcized? Is it a cultural thing, a medical thing or other reason for not doing so? How about Jamaican men born in the US? Anyone on here have an American/Jamaican boy and what did you do?

finesse.....my son is circumsized and richard didnt understand why it is that way but he is ok with it now.....he wasnt happy at first about it but quickly got over it once my mom talked to him about it.....i guess it is def not common in JA and hence why he was not happy with me at first......it is my fault becasue its nothing me and him discussed befroe patrick had it done in the hospital buit to me it was just a common thing that is done in our culture and never really thought it would be a big deal......

thanks. my son is circumcized for the same reason...just because it was the norm. but now I want to know what is the reason for doing/not doing so...is it just a matter of culture?

I just found out my uncle passed away in Jamaica, he has being sick for a couple of years not in pain or anything but his health was steadily deteriorating,

i thought there was less tax burden filing single than married?? so i would owe a boatload of money having not been contributing enough taxes during the year..

Opposite Q - when you are single your employer takes out more taxes from you. So you have been paying in for a single person, but will be filing as a married. They punish the single person.....

Right and if Roger isnt working, you have another dependent which puts you in a lower tax bracket I believe so they would take out less taxes and you get more back (I think I remember how that goes)

When you grip the root and infuse the hair make sure you wrap it around tightly as if to make a knot but its basically a virtual knot. Keep practicing you will get it girl!

Morning, Ladies!

For the first time in WEEKS, I got 8 hours of sleep last night. It feels wonderful. I must do it again sometime.

Also, we booked a flight for Steven to go visit some friends in Florida. I now can relate to those feelings Jawi mentioned having when her husband went on a trip by himself for the first time.

Well that is not an issue I will have to worry about because with my children's behavior this year they aren't getting a Damn thing!!! Although I don't celebrate Xmas and celebrate Kwanzaa instead I do not believe in rewarding bad behavior. I am sure I will they will blame this on my Husband too but too bad so sad they should of thought about the consequences of their actions.....

My Dad, Brother and cousins are all circumsized as well as my Husband. It's funny you bring up this topic as we recently had this convo and he thought because you are born in the US its a law that it must be done LOL I explained it is a choice. He revealed he didn't feel it was necessary and didn't want our son to go through that procedure. The main reason circumcision is preferred is because they feel its a hygiene issue but if a person takes time to clean themselves properly there shouldn't be an issue.

See what happens when you want a free meal. LOL U have to deal with the foolishness. I can't believe that came out his mouth him and his daughter will be coming for you. Men do crack me up they throw all the compliments and niceness your way when you leave their azz but when you were together they acted as though you wore a paper bag all day. I guess the saying is true you never miss a good thing till its gone. Tell him to keep missing you because your are outtie five G's!!!
