MISSA PALMER SOON FORWARD!! HE GOT APPROVED!!   The actual interview itself was a breeze. The CO was the same one we had from the 1st time... Aside from swearing us both in, and looking at my passport stamps (I had 2 passports, my old one & one w/ my married name) she didn't want to speak to me. Oh wait, she did ask me if we had any kids..we both laughed and said a big NO like they were diseases! She asked me to sit down & told him to pick up the phone:

CO: I see you were denied in 2006. You guys didn't waste any time filing again did you? (laughing/joking)

Gregory: No we didn't

CO: Good for you.

CO: When did you meet? Where did your wife stay when she came to JA? Where does your wife work? What does she do? He answered all no problems

CO: Congratulations your visa was approved. Go get your wife & go to window 26 to pay DHL

**On a side note, there were a LOT of people being blue slipped and 1 denials. Most blue slips were income related, or folks needing DNA testing. One lady had to get her police certificate from Cayman Islands. Can't remember what the actual denial was for.

We got there around 7:20 am and we were out around 8:45 am...the actual interview was all of 5 minutes!

Now I can breathe...thank you so much ladies for being my rock and my comfort! He and I just looked at each other and laughed (probably nerves). Then we got outside and I let out a huge exhale--and we just held each other for like 2 or 3 minutes...then I went potty...then we went to get breakfast!

MRS P!! That is wonderful news!! Do you guys have any plans for when he will fly after he receive the visa?

When you coming home?? I think you should pick up a few bottles of rum cream so we can celebrate when he gets here!!!! lol!!!

I am serious about the rum cream!

Hey Ken...I come back 2morrow. I was trying to save my days at work to take off when ie reach...mi gwan look for di rum cream at the airport!

OK Ladies...Missa P a reach...tell mi fi come on! Mek mi gwan do my "wifely duties"!

Good morning Yardies!!

Sending positives vibes to Mr and Mrs. Palmer!! I cannot wait for the good news!!:dance: This reminded me of when Jawis hubby went for his interview. I was glued on VJ ALL DAY!!:dance:

Awwwww...I (L) you too 1Luv!!!

Do you think i will be ok if i have my brother type's up a letter stating that he works at XYZ company but they are unble to provide him with an employment letter due to company policy and just attach his pay check stubs to it ??

Maybe you can type up a letter for him and maybe he can get a supervisor to sign it? I don't think you need to stress. For instance, Im not sending any bank infomation. Im just making sure the tax returns are there (I do have a letter of employment), but I don't think its absolutely necessary. Don't worry Heaven you should be okay

You don't have to have bank information if you are not proving the poverty guidelines with assets...if your income is sufficient the bank statements were never required.

Heavensent...you should be fine without the employment letter as long as you have the tax transcripts, W2s and most recent paystubs for your brother.

Ok jawi! i spent all night thinking about what to do..he said they told him that they dont write employment letters ..they only take phone inquires.. .. so i told him what u said that as long has he as the required income thru tax returns ..w-2 etc..then he should be fine so he said ok...but i just want to be prepared in case they ask for everything...thanks ladies for your response...i'm feeling a little better..i'll just have to take my chances..

Hello all.

I have decided to permanently delete my visajourney.com profile. I'm letting this website take over some of my emotions that it should NOT have power over. I have had some very mean thoughts lately (only my conscious kept me from typing) as I've read this forum specifically. I've shared these with my husband and he even said that it wasn't in my character. I'm not even suggesting for this forum to change..I just realized that it's really not for me and for my potential growth.

So because I can't seem to not log on, I'm trying another way. Which is cutting my ties. Thanks for all of the help with getting my visajourney to where it is now. I truly wish everyone much success with there endeavors and immigration journeys. Big up to OAFJF. I may not be as involved as I'd like, but I'll definitely keep the OAFJF.com website as a favorite.

A lot of ya'll are my facebook friends, which is fine. So I'll see your updates there. There is no need to send any PMs or messages via facebook. I have no hard feelings and I know the site will go on with or without KK. Ya'll keep Finesse in line though. She is outta order...hahaha Sorry Finesse, I had to call you out. You kept me laugh plenty of days.

Never thought I would be writing a good bye letter...I always read these on here...and my thoughts were..what a joke. But here I am.

Peace out. I love the Lord!! Remember to Focus on the positive.

BIG UP my gyal mrs p!!!!!!!!!!!!! this will be a breeze..i ain't even tripping LOL

bye my kk.. the world is not always a pleasant place.. we have to cleanse our spirits daily due to the congestion of life not just this board LOL, but i do understand minimizing negative influence in ones life when u feel necessary, so do u mami!!! like others have said, ur positive vibes and love will be missed..

see u on the other side!!!

okay back to work..

ps

peace doesn't mean we agree, just means we RESPECTFULLY disagree LOL BYE!!!

I am so irritated right now! I just found out a couple that Louis and I considered friends (in St Lucia) have split up and sent their daughter to live with strangers because "they dont want her"!!!??? HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? How can you not take care of your daughter... man I wish we could so something. I just pray that the people taking care of her show her love and support. That is the only thing I can think of!! I feel so bad for this little sweetheart. :(

Then I also find out this woman (same as above) was calling me the "white itch" behind her back. OOOHHHHH so mad. Smile to my face and call me your friend. This is not a woman...
