hubby and i were just talking last night about all the people that he/we know that have left jamaica in recent months..i think he knows 10 people that have left in the last 4-5 months...compared to the 2 or 3 he knew for the 2+ years before that

anyone else seen the same?

Most of Damien's friends are in here or Canada.

Are you planning your 2 year sexy "welcome to america" party? We celebrate ours every year.

most of roger's friends and family are here too, so we never had the issue w/ the calls thankfully, but the few that are in JA have the international plan plus he's real good bout making his calls short and sweet...

its funny u mentions the "sexy party" when i got home he had some champagne for a apprciaton/celebration for us filing the paperwork.. and mi usband was VERY VERY appreciative

its funny.. i sooo feel like the dude sometimes with Roger, but i LOOOVVVVEEE it..

EXACTLY!

the island is only so big

and we are in the age of modern technology

if they really wanted to take these fools out they would

Bunz; a few years ago it was people using their credit/debit cards and getting scammed...I NEVER EVER use my debit card to purchase anything in Jamaica. I'll use it at the ATM though.

I got a call about having won the lottery after I sent DJ's brother money through WU when he was in the hospital - I figured it had to be linked to that, cause I don't use my cards in JA either - The guy tried to convince me he wasn't calling from JA - I had called BACK the # cause I thought it might be DJ calling from the hosp - I told him I would have my husband, a cop in Kingston, call him back to make arrangements - he hung up with a quickness - I don't understand how people fall for it though -

Although we will have people call my company that we sent them a check in the mail and the bank wouldn't honor it - the check itself is false and has words like signature and check spelled wrong - how on earth they think they could cash it is beyond me!

You feel like the dude, why? Cause you are agressive? I find guys like it when you tell them exactly what you want. Leaves the guessing to a minimum.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

i don't blame you tre

there was something like that in the news the other day

about tourists being scammed right there in the hotels and not realizing till they go back home

That's what happened to my co-worker (eventhough) I warned her to keep her cc protected. She was using them for everything because they told her she would get a better rate. She went on some Bob Marley tour and charged a few things in Kingston totally about $100/US...when she checked it out she was charged well over $1000.00.

From that last link:

there are no poisons you can use that will not also be a risk to or available to pets or other, more desireable wildlife, not to mention the possibility (however remote) of kids getting into it. Even if the posion is restricted to areas like garbage cans, dead poisoned raccoons can be consumed by dog or cats which then become poisoned themselves.

I thought my uncle was crazy when he said that. lol I'm not going to poison the animal, I'll find another solution. Maybe we can put a brick on the lid to the trash can Ja Princess, Hopefully, I won't find any kids on my deck. lol My deck doesn't have any steps.

i dont like racoons.. i used to be scared in my old apt cuz they would have a dyam party at the dumpter site and then they started walking the grounds at night.. BIG ones like sunny say.. i had to walk to my car one day and saw one that DID NOT run!!! i kept walking cuz usually im so scary, i was trying to be brave.. and that mo fo HISSED at me..

i took off running the other way

sus, talking about wrong spelling, when I was taking care of some legal things for my grandmother and looking for attorney, we stopped at a place in Ochi and on the wall behind the "FAKE" attorney I saw is degree from Huwered University, Washington, D.C. so I asked him where he got his law degree he said in the states and a university in Washington, DC...so, I asked is it a HBC and he said yes, I got up and was about to walk out, then I said...you need to learn how to spell...it's H.O.W.A.R.D. University

well i mean as far as the lil intimate things..women always seem to be the one to do all the lovey dovey stuff and the men go along for the ride.. USUALLY anyway..i feel bad sometimes when he does something, like "why didn't i think of that???"
