Good morning all!

Best wishes to Mrs. P and Mr. P...you guys will nail it! I can't wait to hear the news that you were approved! Woooooooo-Hooooooo!

Sus...I don't want to go to work either...*sigh* sorry your day in court didn't work out so well. Why didn't you work from home today?

Hubby dreamed that we won the lottery...so I decided to play $5 on the Mega Millions (est. $122 million). He dreamed that we went shopping for cars and I wanted my 300 and he told me that was a simple car...that we needed to get matching his/hers Range Rovers. LOL Then, we started shopping for a house here and one in Jamaica. He was so excited too.

Love the hubby's dream, Jawi!

I wanted to work from home - but I have meetings that I have to be here for today - Thankfully, there is an attorney retreat starting tomorrow - so no one will be here the rest of the week. If I feel like this I will work from home tomorrow -

I know that's right Irie. I would love to have our big house in Jamaica...I don't need one here with that kind of money. Maybe a nice condo, or townhouse when we want to come stateside...but I definitely don't plan on living in the US if I'm a millionaire.

When we talked about winning, we were both naming all the people we would help out...and that the first order of business would be to change our numbers. LOL

:ot:

I forgot to mention something I found so cute...a lot of my friends know that I don't like the nougat candy on the bottom of a Snickers. I normally bite the caramel and nut topping off, and throw away the bottom. People tell me all the time that I'm wasting good candy. I thought I was the only person to do this...then A got a Snickers bar when we went to the GA Aquarium...low and behold...he does the same EXACT thing. When I told him that I eat Snickers the same way...he responded with a mouth full of candy...."EEEHhhhhhnnn must be destiny." :luv:(L)

I remember a time when supervisors @ my job could work from home. Wouldn't you know as soon as I make the decision to move into management...that option no longer exists. CHA!!! My commute is slowly killing me. I have got to find a better way....LORD please find me a better way! I used to love my job. I still like it...and I am grateful for it...but my body needs change.

I was thinking about going back to school to become a Court Stenographer because I eventually want to go into Corporate Law. But, I'm concerned about posturing in that job with my neck issues. What do you think Sus?

How cute! DJ and I are the same in candy tastes too - Reeses PB Cups are my one weakness - I had some with me one trip - I brought candies for his son and DJ picked out all the Reeses - now it's the first thing he looks for - he'll dig in the side pocket of my carryon, where I usually put them - I'll come out of the bathroom and he's munching away

Will reply in more detail later, have to run to meeting #1 :crying: But I think that the extreme amount of typing would be hard on your neck - I have a friend who does it if you want to talk to her, she can give you the inside scoop.

The candy bar thing is so cute!

Before I met Louis guys I dated... (Tierra's dad).... none of them liked chocolate or candy. I told my best friend that I would NEVER date another guy that didnt like chocolate. I told her there is something weird about a person that doesnt like chocolate... all joking of course....

Met Louis... I was being silly and asked him if he eats chocolate... he says "of course". Thats when I told him we would get married! haha

I would by him a chocolate bar every day.

lottery... we talk about who we would help too. I have a couple girlfriends. One who is ALWAYS there for me. She is getting a divorce. Tierra's godparents. I would pay her debt and buy her a vintage VW Bug! LOL

Then of course parents would all have a nice place to live (Louis says not his father!)

Another friend is a teacher in DC. I told her she would have to go on the payroll and be Tierra's private teacher cause we would travel all over the world. OH THE DREAMS>>>>

Morning, All

Morning all! I do not want to work today

Understandable, esp after your yesterday. What made my afternoon FLY by yesterday was spending it training other people on stuff. If my job was training people all the time, I'd LOVE it.

When we talked about winning, we were both naming all the people we would help out...and that the first order of business would be to change our numbers. LOL

 That's funny that y'all thought about that first order of business.

Regarding the candy, that is precious that y'all match in wasting 1/2 of a perfectly good Snickers. Now you got me wanting one.

Steven and I have a lot of things where we're opposites, which works out great. Trail mix: he likes the fruit; I like the nuts. Chicken: he likes the breast; I like the rest.

We never have any good "shows" in the area... especially when its getting cold. We will probably go to the swanky club in Portland and check out the hotties in suites! hahaha

Maybe I will wear my fancy black dress...

Cat, don't you hate it how all fun things come to a screeching halt once Labor Day comes. Life shouldn't stop from September to May!!

I agree with Sus. Your body is stuck in pretty much the same position all day long - typing and listening. If you are a court reporter you will be traveling all over the place for depositions. Your schedule and locations will change from day to day, minute to minute.
