Jeesh Yankee, hope you feel better soon! Sounds like a fun day though LOL. ;)

It is cold and raining here... more rain tomorrow. Maybe I will have a PJ day tomorrow. But I think Tierra and I will go see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs... wonder if anyone would laugh if we wear our PJs to the theater??

I want to take my niece and nephew to see that too.

I seriously don't know how to post in the forum..but can someone help me with a question? What is the DS-2000 and do I need to bring that to our interview? And also, do I need to bring my birth cert, passport and passport photos of MYSELF or does just my fiance that is applying for the Visa bring that? Any help would be great! Thanks.

From what I read no you don't need that and remember the interview, I believe is all about him trying to get his visa and you trying establish an ongoing relationship... You'll be fine missy!!! :)

Goodmorning all.....

Going to the movies (2nd run-monsters vs aliens) then off to the pumpkin patch!!! Gotta bundle up cause its cold out here! Hope everyone's weekend went good... chat later.

OH....found this interesting.... It was raining yesterday where Michael was and he was joking about him needing my HOUSE AND LAND and I was like HUH??? Before I left Jamaica I bought a big golf sized umbrella in the JA colors and brought it back home... thats what he was talking about.... I NEVA KNEW!!! House and land= golf umbrella... lol.... , same conversation also learned that a STADIUM is a bright light bulb!

House and land generally means anything HUGE or LOTS OF...Ie, if someone you knew in Jamaica asked you to bring a HUGE list of things, they would be asking you to bring HOUSE AND LAND....if you were going away for a wekend and you brought a HUGE suitcase, he might ask you why you brought house and land....

Morning, everyone.

Woke up at 4am to drive from Dallas to Houston, so I could work with the children's ministry @ church @ 9:30. Bout to take a nap!

Heart in Jamaica, you don't need a DS2000. I've never even heard of such a document for the K1 process. As mentioned, your passport is the only additional thing you need to go to the interview (other than the list of things in the packet 3 checklist).

Nat, sounds like a fun night - what did Stephen end up wearing to the wedding?

Steven wore a gray 3-piece suit and a dark purple shirt. His tie was striped with various shades of gray and purple. Coincidentally, the colors of the wedding were purple & gray, so he fit right in. We ended up finding shoes that fit him at Dillard's, where the attendant was able to suggest shoe brands that run wider. Also, we found out that Steven shoe size is not what he thought... which is strange to me cause all his other shoes (sneakers/sandals/casual shoes) are in the too-small size. Only the "gentleman" shoes weren't fitting in a smaller size.

Philly, I thought you were gonna give me some home remedies for ingrown hair (razor bumps).
