If it's a bad situation and BOTH parties do not try very hard to make it work, your children will be better off in divorce IMHO.

I agree with you, Princess - I have seen it in my cousins - Their parents should have divorced many years ago, yet they stayed together bc divorce is against their religion - EVERY one of my cousins has had major issues in one way or another - it makes you wonder how different life would have been for them if they hadn't grown up in that awful environment.

Shoe update: The wide widths arrived from Zappos. They were too narrow too. So the new plan is to go back to places we went & get the first shoes (in the budget) that fit, regardless of how much he likes them.

Philly/Bunz, I'm with you on Mariah's & Whitney's talent. Whitney was awesome, but I doubt she could hit notes in as wide a range as Mariah.

My ex and I went to Dallas a few years ago (when we were still together). We pull up at my family's home around 11pm or so. Everyone had stayed up late cause they wanted to meet him, and he REFUSED to get out of the car, talking about he was tired! I was gonna drop him at his friend's house to spend the night, but stopped to say hi to my family since they were on the way. It definitely was a bad first impression, as they didn't understand why he couldn't take 2 minutes to get out of the car & say hi. I didn't understand either.
