Afternoon Yardies!

I wish I could sleep until I wake up, instead of when the alarm clock tells me to get up.

That is my greatest wish in life at this point!:yes:

its not all its cracked up to be.. my job has flex time, i can be at work anywhere from 7 -9 am, i NEVER use an alarm clock, but the fact that i can't get up and go back to bed still vex me so..

i know.. NEVER satisfied..

mrs p i can imagine how annoyed you are

lawd i tell onoo bout men

and den dem say we nagging

just sending off our package was stressful

if it was up to me i would have just told him to send his stuff and let me do everything but i had to rely on him and O-M-G!

so i can imagine how frustrating it is to be almost at the end and things are kinda out of your control

but as princess picha dem di say, be of good courage (?)

calm down and talk it over with him and be patient

the last thing you need at this point is arguing

Sooo....on top of being SUPER STRESSED @ this point, I've been on the phone trying to get through to Andrews Medical Centre...WELL, mi finally reach, and dis wha dem sey: 'im cyaan walk in (like we all suspected). Have fi schedule an appt. Earliest they had was Oct. 5th. The nice lady said that if he comes in between 7:30-8:00 am he would be able to pick up the medical results Tuesday afternoon. Perfect! So, of course I am fuming, and sent my husband a text to call me back. Ready to rip the a$$ out of his pants! :ranting::ranting: Asked him exactly what it was he asked when they told him that he could just walk in to get his exam done. My husband says, "I tell dem dat mi gwaan need a medical exam and when caan I do it."

Me: "Were u specific about the fact that it was a medical for a CR1 interview on Oct 7?"

Him: Silence.

Me: (Expletive. Expletive.) "Did they transfer you over to the medical office who is in charge of scheduling medicals for visas or did u just talk to whoever picked up the phone first?"

him: "Talked to the lady that pick hup di phone."

Me: (more expletives). I will call u back this evening, because clearly I can't even form sentences to speak to you at this moment. Maybe by then I would have pulled myself together." Hang up. I'm headed to the ABC store...I need to self-medicate!:wacko:

Oh my...- I can remember so many times my husband "dropped the ball" during our process, drove me nuts. But be encouraged in the end it will all work out and you soon forget about all the stress he put you through...I hope he gets on the ball, sometimes these men just need a push in the right direction. In my case a lot of pushing...good luck tonight.

what drove me nuts was how i kept telling him to make sure he made 2 copies of everything he sent to them

lovely fellow thought i was just being ####### so he scanned somethings, didn't scan others

so halfway in the process i ask him a question, he can't remember because of course he doesn;t have copies

i could feel steam coming out my ears

and i know we're gonna have this problem again

and i'm trying sooooooo hard not to be a nagging b!tch!

we have agreed though that i am the more thorough one of the two of us so he has accepted that i will be on his case

MANN.. i am KINDA like the men, in that i will do stuff, but sometimes i am like" is that reeeaaaally necessary"

i am a believer ..

saw a post today where the couple show up for the AOS interview.. and told that their package didn't arrive yet from whatever office.. so THANKFULLY they were on vj and knew to make copies so the interviewer just used thier copies of the filing instead of resheduling them for another time.. ..WOW..
