Afternoon Yardies!

Sorry to JG & MrsP that you are having bad days! As everyone has said, everything is going to work out so try not to stress.

We had a decent weekend. Lehi's Dad visited on Saturday so we showed him around the city & I was only slightly irritated with the absolute inability to make a decision & stick with it by the end of the day. Yesterday we went to the $1 horse races at the track & even won back some of what we spent. It ended up being about $30 for the entertainment of the races, several hot dogs & a whole lot of Bud Light to get buzzed on! Well worth it I say!

Got my NOA2 in the mail today!!!! It was dated Sept. 18th and the website wasnt updated. Now onto NVC!!! Bunz I'm following right behind u lol :dance: :dance: :dance:

Congrats Marie! :dance::thumbs:

Here's a quick & easy dish that combines texmex style & Caribbean flavors: Jerk chicken fajitas.

Sautee onions, different color bell peppers, a bit of salt, garlic, basil, & thyme in oil. Put aside.

Season skinless, boneless chicken breasts with jerk seasoning, then cut into strips. Cook in pan with a bit of oil until done.

Heat tortillas in oven or microwave.

Put chicken & onion/pepper mixture in the tortillas.

Thanks Nat! I'm going to try that one!

Morning all! I did not sleep well last night, and am not looking forward to this day at work!

Same here! Hubby needs to learn to stay on his side of the bed. I'm tired of turning over & hitting my face on his elbow cause it's lying across my pillow! :angry:

I was in New Hampshire yesterday - drove home late and drank coffee on the way, which I think killed my sleep.

I'm same way....can't drink any caffeine late anymore if I plan on getting some sleep.

I wish I could sleep until I wake up, instead of when the alarm clock tells me to get up.

That is my greatest wish in life at this point! :yes::yes:

Nat that is why you get the epidural....no worries when you get that....

Just the intial pain of them sticking the needle in your back. Then tend to do it when your in the middle of a contraction :wacko:

LOL well mstee by the time you get it you really don't care what pain you have to go through to get it! At least that is how it was for me.

I had one child vaginal and one c-section. The vaginal one ripped me. It hurt worse for them to stitch me up than actually having him. The other I only dialated until 6 cm's so they had to take her by c-section. I was more worried about my brother eating my snack size snickers than the pain at that moment lmao. I do remember trying to get up to use the bathroom cause it felt like I need to do a number 2 really bad. (with the vaginal) lol.. I had the epidural with my c-section and I remember wanting to slap the mess out of the doctor because he was telling me to grab my knees and he was pushing on them talking bout curve your back curve your back! I said I can't even see or feel my knees! lol

YOU GALS ARE FREAKING ME OUT!! I think we'll have to rethink this business about having a kid! (Where's the RUNS SCREAMING smiley???)

:rofl: ...girl, when they gave me the epidural I couldn't feel a thing, the doctor told me to grab my legs, I said what legs. That poor doctor I was talking to him in pure patwah and the Jamaican nurses were all cracking up.

:rofl::rofl: Only you! :yes:

I love that needle!!! I did it all three times. I tell you one minute I was ripping my hair out and the next I was like so coffee anyone??

:rofl::rofl:

Bunz; hope you never end up at a teaching hospital with 11 plus doctors looking and your MUNCHIE...I kept asking if anyone wants to give me a shape up...their faces turned red.

:rofl::rofl: Lawny, yuh TERRIBLE! :lol:

I try to keep mine fairly low... not out of particular concern for the environment, but because of the effect on my pocketbook.

:lol: I'm with you there Nat! Well, I DO really care about the environment. BUT, the second highly motivating factor is not buying stuff like paper towels & ziploc bags all the time....saves plenty of money over the long run! :yes::yes:

Sooo....on top of being SUPER STRESSED @ this point, I've been on the phone trying to get through to Andrews Medical Centre...WELL, mi finally reach, and dis wha dem sey: 'im cyaan walk in (like we all suspected). Have fi schedule an appt. Earliest they had was Oct. 5th. The nice lady said that if he comes in between 7:30-8:00 am he would be able to pick up the medical results Tuesday afternoon. Perfect! :wacko: So, of course I am fuming, and sent my husband a text to call me back. Ready to rip the a$$ out of his pants! :ranting::ranting: Asked him exactly what it was he asked when they told him that he could just walk in to get his exam done. My husband says, "I tell dem dat mi gwaan need a medical exam and when caan I do it."

Me: "Were u specific about the fact that it was a medical for a CR1 interview on Oct 7?"

Him: Silence.

Me: (Expletive. Expletive.) "Did they transfer you over to the medical office who is in charge of scheduling medicals for visas or did u just talk to whoever picked up the phone first?"

him: "Talked to the lady that pick hup di phone."

Me: (more expletives). I will call u back this evening, because clearly I can't even form sentences to speak to you at this moment. Maybe by then I would have pulled myself together." Hang up. I'm headed to the ABC store...I need to self-medicate! :blush::wacko:

Heaven help this man if I don't have a nice buzz this evening...

What ur not supposed to buy paper towels or zip lock bas?? Well what am I supposed to put my meat into in order to freeze it? I'm not even going to take the test I have a feeling I am VERY high and I use paper plates. (As I run from Bunz and Finese....)
