....when it hurts to look back and you're scared to look ahead LOOK beside you and I'll be there.....

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore... and who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

What do you give a man that tells you he has everything he's every wanted in his life and that no gift can replace what God has blessed him with.

 Can't say it in public

Kidding. Awww, that's sweet. I would find something really meaningful to give him.....a scrapbook of pictures that mean the most....a night out or a night in to really show him how much he means to me....take him somewhere he really wants to go; but I usually don't want to go....Just something special.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Sorry we couldn't really be there for you when you needed us most, Dada.

I have moved on. But, I know what you are saying....it was a bigger deal then anyone but those who have been through it would ever understand. I think my thing is that with an LDR you but your life on hold.....the trips....timing the calls just right.......waiting on paperwork...the emotions associated with all the waiting and anticipating......well, I can't explain it better then to say your life is on hold a lot during those times. You give up a lot more then you realize until later on when you can sit back and take a breath. People who date and marry from their own cities just have no clue.

No they truly don’t. They also don’t understand if they never been in a similar relationship. Like my girls thought it was just a sex thing so when it crumpled they were like girl please you can have sex ova here now and save money. All very true but still they just didn’t understand. It was one of the things that caused us some riff. I could sit and listen to their problems but when I shared mine they were like  urs isn’t even real. So bump them I just leaned on Q more. LOL

Oh JG the yardies were there for me. There were some I shared it with who were a great support system and then I came on the baord and shared with the rest and got a great response back.

Someone had a sexy party last night

...

You don't like to shop, really why?

Regarding the wedding attire, it depends on what type of affair they are having. Is it a causal wedding or formal, also what time of day. You can google wedding etiquette there are so many sites dedicated to it you wouldn't believe!

Just don't like it. I like to go in, get what I need, and get out.

Well, after about 10-15 minutes, he seemed relaxed enough & his back wasn't hurting anymore, so I figured I could finally get my internet time in. But I did realize I really like the soothing sounds of Sade, so I got her discography. Next time, we won't have to have that same one song on repeat.

Regarding the wedding attire, I'll check the invitation.. but since it's at night, and since I've never seen Steven all dressed up, we'll probably err on the side of overdressed. I think he'll like seeing me dressed up, too. He's complimented me on my work attire everyday this week (except today, jeans day).

Hell to the yeah! cornrows and all?

Speaking of cornrows, how much shoudl that charge? I couldn't believe that the hair salon around here wants $45 for BASIC cornrows. That was all the motivation I needed.... Last night, I found a wikihow article on braiding cornrows. So I'll practice on Steven until I can do it. That'll save us gas, time, AND $$.

Sus - thanks for the videos last night...I had several dreams about turtles having sex :dead:

LOL See. That's why I only watched the first one.
