Do you still talk to him, Island?

I have chosen not to. He wanted to keep a LDR, but I told him I wouldn't be in one for another second. He called me the day after he got back to JA and I asked him not to call me again. Jr's mom and I were left to mend that boy's broken heart because he loved his new family, and he DIDN'T want to return to Jamaica. The day Jr left in the airport he sobbed in his mother's arms because he thinks he will never see my son again. My facebook photos tell it all...

We do still have a relationship with Jr and spent alot of time with him before he had to return. We talk to him every couple of days - he will always be in our lives. He told his mom that I will always be his stepmom.

Wow....guess I was ready, Bunz.

Awwwww, I'm so sorry. I can only imagine. Poor little guy.

I can't blame you one bit for not talking to him. I asked cause it sort of made it sound like you did. I know I could not do that. I have not spoken to Andre since June and it's not even a LDR anymore. I have complied with a few of his requests sent through my son for his nephew's birth papers and his sisters death certificate and I sent some of his checkbooks that I ended up with. But, other then that, no interest whatsoever.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

Ditto for me!

I think I know how you are feeling. I kept my story to myself and a few select Yardies on here for months. I just wasn't ready to tell it. Not that I cared what anyone else really thought. I just wasn't ready to put myself out there and accept the condolences and pity. When I was ready, and it all came spilling out of me, I really did feel so much better.

You do what you have to do to heal, Island.
