Yes that did apply to the US, UK, etc. back in the day but that was before something called the Geneva Convention was created and signed by countries such as Israel. I think the problem is Israel's blatant violations of this convention and the lack of enforcement by the UN of it's violations.

Article 49

Individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory to the territory of the Occupying Power or to that of any other country, occupied or not, are prohibited, regardless of their motive.

Nevertheless, the Occupying Power may undertake total or partial evacuation of a given area if the security of the population or imperative military reasons do demand. Such evacuations may not involve the displacement of protected persons outside the bounds of the occupied territory except when for material reasons it is impossible to avoid such displacement. Persons thus evacuated shall be transferred back to their homes as soon as hostilities in the area in question have ceased.

The Occupying Power undertaking such transfers or evacuations shall ensure, to the greatest practicable extent, that proper accommodation is provided to receive the protected persons, that the removals are effected in satisfactory conditions of hygiene, health, safety and nutrition, and that members of the same family are not separated.

The Protecting Power shall be informed of any transfers and evacuations as soon as they have taken place.

The Occupying Power shall not detain protected persons in an area particularly exposed to the dangers of war unless the security of the population or imperative military reasons so demand.

The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.

Now where is the poll on whether the country of palestine should exist..and i would vote yes for them also. It was a major mistake to recognize Israel and ingnore palestine. Palestinians have been used by so many people it is a shame. And, they have done much damage to themselves to boot.

I vote yes. What do you think? For the purposes of this, disregard the current conflict in the region. Simply state whether or not you believe the nation as we know it today, has a right to exist.

sorry to hear you think I was not serious. I am!- not about the shotgun part- the Nazi unti Israeli people on this chain just hurt me much by the things they post as facts - when they're really nothing like what has truly happened

(I should know god damn it after 17 years of living in the middle of this - in Jerusalem out of all)

I am not even close to being a soldier in my head, as I said- just too many good people lost to these dogs!- and I'm not talking about Arabs - just so you understand- I have plenty of great Arabic Israeli friends here!- and honestly- a lot of them actually think like me.

They know that- in the middle east- who ever folds back is considered weak!- and the weak don't survive- at least the way history proved itself in my country!-

the Israeli Arabs know it- they say to me often that there are lots of good people on the Palastenian side- but they are ruled by the majority - who are thirsty for our blood .

Just so you know- even the Israeli Arabs are afraid to go to the turfs!- the people there- have no god and no mercy!

The previous comparison to Africa is true- much of what's going on there is going on here- and trust me when I say it- Israel is barely defending itself- we are no where near what people think of us on this forum.

the last post was just to clarify who is speaking- my Man is not by me right now- and I am speaking for myself and my people.

I am sorry for your loss of the 2 colleagues in the 9/11 attack. It was a terrible event- those people had nothing to do with this stinking conflict, and so many innocent lives were lost- it's even impossible to visit all the families since there were so many- I'm also sorry to see it hasn't affected your opinion about the countries and the societies that support that kind of activity!!
