wedding invite date different from court wedding date?

hi my hubby and me are catholics and we got married in church 1st then went on our honeymoon...whn we got back we got married in court...when filling teh I130 we had to put our court wedding date as that is wht US recognises as valid....when i go for my interview and am asked to show my weddin invite the date will be diff frm what is on teh record ...is that going to be a problem????am thinkin not coz its our wish when we want to get married in church and court...am i correct???

anyone faced ths kinda situation????any advise???

I dont think it is too big of a deal either since one was a church wedding the other the civil ceremony.... If they ask anything, just explain that, but I dont think they will even ask... I would not worry...

This doesn't matter, but be prepared to show proofs. The consular officials should be accustomed to seeing a separate legal and religious ceremony (if that's how it works in your SO's country), but you should be prepared to remind them. My strategy to feel confident would be to show the invite and dated photos of the religious wedding and the marriage license for the civil ceremony. That way, you can show that you actually did have a "wedding" on the day of the invitation, but that you weren't legally married until later.
