Menaxoxo, thisislove, my husband is gonna take me to the social security adminstration tomorrow to apply for a social security card. He said once i have a social security number i can start looking for jobs. I did try the online job application system of Walgreens and a grocery store but they need me to enter a social security number which I did not have one at this moment. Well, a few more days of vacation for me before the hunting beginzzzzz :blush:

thisislove, A friend got ssn for just 5 days. I think once uscis touch your EAD after being sent then you wont wait for weeks to get ssn. I was touched by the way after being sent and I wil apply this week.

hey everyone.

i'm so happy for you all! i'm kinda concerned with my situation though! my timeline is as similar to 1LUVv and everyone but i haven't received my EAD card or an interview letter yet. i'm really hoping im going to get something in the mail tomorrow. I-765 was last touched yesterday.

04/2008 - Met in San Francisco while backpacking

05/12/08 - Flew back to Thailand

09/23/08 - Started a long distance relationship

03/16/09 - Arrived in the US to visit him

07/2009 - Decided to get married <3

07/11/09 - Took a premarital class

07/13/09 - Got married!

09/24/09 - Mailed package to USCIS

09/27/09 - Package accepted by USCIS

10/05/09 - Received receipts of notice for I-130, I-1485 & I-765

10/14/09 - Received biometrics appointment

10/23/09 - Biometrics appointment @12:00 pm

10/28/09 - Cases were touched

11/09/09 - EAD Card production ordered

11/13/09 - EAD Card production ordered (again)

11/16/09 - EAD Card Approval notice sent

11/17/09 - I-765 was touched

i got one email on the 16th, then the 19th.. alright, time for the approval email!!!!!

[07/15/07 Met RG on vacation in Jamaica

07/27/09 He proposes on one of his visits here

08/07/09 We are married!!!!!

10/26/2009 receive interview letter for NOV 30th 11:30!!!! PRAISE GOD!

11/06/2009 receive advance parole papers.. no email, no updates beforehand..

11/16/2009 After 2 WEEKS of checking the mail thinking the EAD and AP come about the same time, we get the "card production ordered" email for the EAD.. better late than never.. thank you LORD!!!

11/19/2009 receive another email stating "card production ordered"

11/23/2009 receive EAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

11/30/2009 bittersweet interview, but WE ARE APPROVED

12/02/09 social security card in mail

I hope all is fine, There is no need to be panic, Maybe you have a different delivery system, Its take only 2 days for any letter to get to me through usps...My approval was sent on Monday and I had it on Wednesday..
