Hey guys question here does not having your father's name on your birth certificate pose a problem in you not getting a visa. I was reading on the kingston embassy review where a woman was giving her experience while she was at the embassy and saw another person getting blue slipped cause they did not have the father name on the birth certificate.

my father name is not on mine infact i dont even know him am kind of worried any advise?

My husband didn't have his father's name on his birth certificate.

i think the only time it is an issue is when it is a minor

11/6/09 - EAD approved

11/9/09 - Advance Parole approved

11/23/09- Received EAD/AP

12/2/09 - Email Card Production Ordered!!!!

DS230 delivered November 6th.....nvc logged it on November 12th

It would only be an issue if you father was instrumental in the immigration process, ie he was filing for you or your sister by your dad's side was filing for you.

It would only be an issue if you father was instrumental in the immigration process, ie he was filing for you or your sister by your dad's side was filing for you.

My husband didn't have his father's name on his birth certificate.

Same with my Husband only his Mother's name was listed on his BC
