What forms to file?

I am preparing on my physical examination for my adjustment of status. I don't know what form am I going to fill is it I-485 or I-698 I am confuse. I just got married last July 2009. MY fiancee visa will expire on October 5th. I will be going to Indianapolis to continue my immigration process. I also am filling for employment authorization at the same time. Am I doing the right thing? Thank you for reading. Your thought and knowledge are essential.

The I-698 is used to apply for adjustment to permanent resident status under the amnesty program provisions of the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA).

A K-1 is not covered by the IRCA of 1986... use the I-485

2 for ap

Thank you for the information. Thus, it makes me more confuse when you said I dont have to get a physical exam here when I already have gotten those shots in the Philippines and I already have an appointment with an accredited physician of USCIS on wednesday.

In my understanding, regarding what you wrote in here is that we could just file and mail it in instead of going down to Indianapolis for the biometrics, registration of change of status and employment authroization?

I dont know what EAD means and what does CBP form I-94 means? I apologize for the less knowledge that I aquire regarding this immigration thing. I lost track when I finally arrive here and just enjoy the company of my husband all the way.

I hope you will enlighten my mind on this.
