Thank all of you for your help. I think two of the red flags are the 11 year aga differance between me and my husband and the way we meet. I know is family here in the states and they gave me his email. I will be callling rome on monday to see if they have recieved the paperwork from the embassy and to try and find out the reasons the embassy gave them. I will also send a letter to my congress woman to see if what they where told by the embassy. I will let everyone know what if find out.

Again than you for you help

It sounds like you have a good start on figuring out why they sent it back. It sounds as if they think that his family set up the marriage for immigration purposes. The key now is to find ways to prove that the relationship is real and separate from the fact that you already knew his family. This might be hard if they can show that you had a relationship with his family before you met him. But keep searching. Letters of support from your family and his can prove to be very beneficial.

I forgot to mention, they did ask my husband how many times and when I had talked to his sister here in the states. Luckily I have the initial interest that my husband sent me on the dating site. It is dated prior to any phone records they could show of me talking to his sister. I was so grateful that I kept that proof! I never thought it would be helpful. I actually talked to his sister for the first time about 1 or 2 months after I met him. She was planning a visit to Utah and thought we could meet for coffee. It never happened though, she had to cancel her trip, so other than the phone and yahoo I still haven't met her in person. I am hoping that I will meet the rest of his family on this up coming trip.

It sounds like you are ready now for the fight. Stay strong, its a hard battle, but when one is truly in love anything is possible.

Hi, NigeriaorBust. thank you for replying me. I had interview in March 2010. The consulate was not satisfied with my interview and i then submitted 10pounds of supportive documents to her consideration on 18th May. Consulate made decision on 24th May 2010 shown on the refusal sheet but she sent me an express mail on 27th June to tell me that she cannot issue me visa and due to section 5(a). She determined my marriage with my husband is not real. She will send my application to USCIS for review and possible revocation.

I donot think she read my provided documents. Because on 27th may 2010, she asked her assistant to call me and said i didn't provide chinese return address and i told assistant that i did provide the return address and it is indicated clearly in Cover Letter. Assistant said I sent too much stuff and consulate didnot see it. She didnot even see my return address provided clearly and she has decided to refuse my case. I double she actually read the documents my husband and I provided.

Thanks a lot, I will open a new thread. Hope to get more help from you guys.
