There may be nearly 45 million without insurance. However, the real question is, who are these 45 million. The typical pro-ObamaCare story is to tell some story about some guy who was working hard, lost his job and then the fates conspired against him in a completely unfair way to deny him coverage while his disabled wife died of cancer. Or something like that.

Thing is, seniors are covered, children are covered. People with jobs are covered. Someone explain to me what these 45 million uninsured people look like demographically, instead of anecdotally.

Many say a third of them are illegal immigrants, a third are people who chose not to and the other third is people who cant afford it. So when the left throws out the 45 million too try and show that we need a national health care system there just being dishonest.

People with jobs are covered.

You believe that everyone's employer offers insurance?

If you have a real job for the most part yes.

What would you define as a real job vs. a non-real job?

real job?

Yes real jobs, this doesn't include Mcdonalds or Burger king. Its a teenager job and then we grow up, well most of us.

I am pretty sure McD's offers some kind of health care insurance though

Medical

McDonald’s offers three Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) medical plan options that use the First Health network of providers. The plans have different benefit levels and pay more for in-network covered costs than for out-of-network covered costs. All three of the plans feature a prescription drug program and an unlimited lifetime benefit maximum. In addition, the McDonald's medical plans cover preventive care, including annual physical exams for employees and covered family members (up to $400 per person per year), well-baby care, and child immunizations and inoculations. In some areas, HMOs are also available.

Marc - put your bottle away. Its not even the end of the day yet.

How can you type with that hand-me down straight jacket? Daddy's boy

Don't you wave your bottle in my face, mate.

And brush your flipping teeth!

What would you define as a real job vs. a non-real job?

Flipping Burgers vs Skilled trade

Why should McDonalds be offering health insurance?

Because its workers aren't immune to disease or indeed from kitchen-related injuries.

So basically even some of the not real jobs have insurance. Sweet. So Steve was off more than I originally thought.
