Hi all! Just a quick question that is maybe obvious, but at this point I want to be EXACT! I am currently unemployed and will be filing the AOS forms soon. I feel sure that I will need a co-sponcer, as my unemployement compensation and weekly child support will not cover the amount needed. My question is: under the 125% guideline on the I-864P, it lists the number of household members. In determining my number, does this number include my wife as well. I have 2 kids......so would I figure it on 4 people? So if correct, I would have to make a minimum of $27,562? My co-sponcer will be my father and his wife. Only 2 of them in the house. Does this mean that they only have to qualify for $18,212 being that there are only 2 of them? Or do their qualifications have to be equal to or greater than mine? Or do they have to qualify for the amount equal to 6 people total?? I have read the "guides" section here, but any other tips would be greatly appreciated!
