My question is how long to they usally give you to return the evidence required?

I am very nervous about this they didn't say what it was for.

I got an RFE August 27, 2009 and I have to response by September 26, 2009. That is a period of 30 days. They usually give you a month to response and that is the norm.

My concern is that my Fiance lives in Italy and if it is something that he needs to send me it generally takes 2 weeks to get it.

They usually always give you a month. Don't sweat it you will make the deadline.

DHL and Fedex get it there in 3 days or less. Yes, it costs more. Yes, that is your problem. NO, USCIS does not care, it is your problem. It may be nothing he needs to sign opr see.

I highly doubt it. The call center has no more information than you do, they look at the same online system as you. If you managed to get it kicked up to an immigration officer, they MAY be able to tell you. You will probably be on hold so long the letter will arrive while you listen to music.
