I got email last September 11, saying that last Sept 10, they send a notice asking for more evidences or information. I believe some people said already that it might be my biometrics. It's been 7 days passed now, I don't have anything in my mailbox. I do sure it won't take 7 days for you to get something in the mailbox if it was mailed a week ago already. I'm already on my 1 month duration since i filed my N400 and still no biometrics notice yet.

Should I be worried? I've been analyzing every people timeline in VJ specially in N400 like me and in my area like Atlanta, GA. They seems go fall into places when and how long they got this and that. So i don't know if I need to go for their timeline to fit mine.

Any info or no. to call? Maybe I don't want to accept the fact that they will give me this obselete info that you have to wait 90 days ... duh I'm just waiting for biometrics or yellow letter but i should have it by now. It's very annoying since GA, doesn't much people i guess applied when I applied last August., so I don't have nothing to compare about processing timeline. I do believe I gave everything they need, copies of everything I already sent since aos and removing of condition.

I find it funny too, that we need to pay another $80 bucks for biometrics again, though we just recently done that not nearly a year ago from removal of conditions....

Well I don't need to say anything more against the government bruhaha , if i want to be a citizen of this government. ( That's we're my husband joking me as always ). But if they do work as business, they should do their job the way we paid the services fee.

Sorry just venting.... god bless!

Hi rebelheart - I would wait just a few more days - I think probably Saturday or Monday its in your mailbox :) Just because they dated the letter Sept 10, doesn't mean it got mailed out that day. In my experience, there's 2 or 3 days difference between the date on the letter and the postmark of the envelope (just look at your NOA for example if you keep all the envelopes, like I do :P). For extra reassurance, you could call the 1800 number and say you don't have your case number, and then they'll transfer you to the second level IO and you can make sure its on its way.

AOS: ND - June 5 2006 | RFE - June 15 2006 | FP Notice - June 30 (Rescheduled to Sept 16) | AP ND - August 14 2006| Walk-in FP - Sept 5 (FP cleared next day!) | Interview - Sept 8 2006 (Approved!) | Welcome Letter - Sept 13 | EAD received - Sept 19 (kinda moot since I'm waiting for GC) | GC received - Sept 23 2006 - Woohoo!!

Good luck to us! maryces21

Thanks for the advice wannabe_texan, of course we always do wait. nothing else to do =D ... i just don't want to experience the "no show" excuses sometimes they've sent to applicants. It's so pathetic. :bonk:

But more often, it's so nice to vent here in VJ... you knew people understand you because you we're on the same boat in some instances.

god bless everyone! (F)

Gee, we were finally removed from the status of a case site, LIN numbers are now invalid. Was always a screwed up site anyway, how many of us wasted hours checking that site. Hooray, I was touched! Sounds like it's still screwed up sending you scaring heart attack type of information. But the USCIS, your congressman, and ombudsman treated that site like it was some kind of bible.

Still 80 bucks even without the photo, Emilio, the last dumped head of the USCIS reported to congress, and congress bought it, still cost him 80 bucks to store and retrieve your fingerprints if they used your last one or two sets of prints. What do you do? You pay it and smile, certainly can't go anywhere else to get your USC. You drive to your nearest field service office, get there well ahead of time because if you are one second late, they can cancel your appointment, then you sit in the waiting room for hours afraid to use the rest room because they may call you. You don't dare complain and you be very nice and sweet, if they tell you to stand on your head, you stand on your head. If they say they want more evidence, you go home empty handed and gather it, even though it could be a utility bill that is not even mentioned on the required evidence.

If you pass, you can request a same day oath, but if told they don't do that here, you don't dare ask while other USCIS field offices do that. But you can ask when you may expect your oath letter.

You don't tell your IO, the USCIS is supported by your fees, therefore he/she is working for you. You just say, thank you whether the results were good or bad.
