November interview in MTL

If I remember correctly, last year most people who sent back their packet around August/September has interviews before December.

They didn't really schedule very many interviews in December last year and then everyone from Septemer/October started getting interviews for January/February.

You should all consider themselves lucky that you'll all probably miss the December holiday season. That really slowed us down. I sent back my packet 3 in the middle of November and didn't get an interview until March. I found out about it in February.

lgg - They do a lot more than 20 marriage visas a day I'm sure. When I went the place was packed. I'd say they probably do at least 50-100 visas there a day - that's my estimate, probably more though. It is busy there.

It's hard to say how many they do a day there.

I can't find the website again for the life of me, but as an example, in 2008... Canada only did 711 K-1 visas.

We really are slow.

Compared to the Philippines doing 5000.

Well, I wasn't referring to just K1/CR1 - Canadians have access to a lot more different kinds of visas I'm sure. Plus, I think there were Americans going there to deal with things too. It's a busy office. I'm sure they are maxed out and not just twiddling their thumbs about scheduling people. Although I know it can sure feel like that when waiting!!

Removing Conditions

NOA1 - 8/16/11

Oh yeah, I forgot that they're American Consulates.

So that would let Americans go in too.

I guess the last thing I read in the listing of American consulates in Canada really confused me about what locations do what.

sigh... that still gives me no clue as to whether or not I'll get an interview before the Christmas break or after.... I can't believe it's going to be SO CLOSE... I kept bothering my fiance telling him that every second counts... like, it took him an extra week to sent off the I 129F because he didn't get stuff done when he said he would (typical.. LOL), and then it took me an extra week to send off the Packet 3, because I was out of town for 4 days after it arrived, and then it was the holiday weekend so that delayed it more... this stuff adds up!!!! BALSRGHYSADU It's making me go insane. If they schedule me an interview for the week of January 11th, I'm going to seriously freak out...

Actually... worst would be the final week of January, that would be the worst.
