If we don't want Russia putting Missile sites around our Country... we shouldn't put them around theirs.

You (and Obama) couldn't be more wrong.

Russia is and always will be a threat and we need the missile shield to keep them in check.

Leave Afghanistan, keep the anti-Russian missile shield.

BS! We need a two pronged attack here Ma! Stay the course set by Bush, invade Afghanistan with more troops and turn up the heat, and that is also where we find Bin Laden, I want his head on a stake!

And keep the missile shield growing, hell why doesn't Russia join forces with us instead of working against the USA it would only be to Russia advantage to go along with the missile shield and be a part of the team that is running it or operating it, makes no sense, but yet all these liberal wacko far left loons on VJ are going to not get it, for the U of SA is always wrong in their mind, always wrong, thus that is why they are going to change it for the better. Nutcases.

I say you all loving Ovomit fans better clean up ACORN now or it is going to really haunt you come next election for it has done a lot of damage already this week to Ovomit! No credibility now for you messiah president since he worked for ACORN at one time, really says a lot about Ovomit!

- why is the US of A, the only country concerned about this, why are Russia's neighbors less concerned than we are?

-If we are now free to enter their hemisphere and set up military bases, do you doubt they will return the favor?

YOu think Iran is a problem with Nukes, I can promise you Chavez will be next and I can't say I blame Russia.

When one studies Russian history you find they have paid a heavy price by letting a potential enemy get too close and if you think Putin is going to let the USA form a ring around Russia with out paying a big price you are mistaken.

IT"S NOT OUR BUSINESS UNLESS WE MAKE IT.

Oh I see the village liberal loons are on the prowl now. "#######", really decent of a lady to use this type of language RJ!

The USA was using the shield to protect it's allies and none of the missiles were ever aimed at or to be used against Russia and as a matter of fact Russia was invited numerous times to join the project with the USA and to stop the Middle East country of Iran from developing these nuke weapons but Russia declined each time. What you cannot grasp with your liberal make a speech loving change attitude is that it is by design Russia did this to test and see how far they could push the USA and now they know, Ovomit is weak and so is the USA now.

And ACORN is just systemic risk associated with Ovomit and is another example of why people are tired of him and not supporting his policies for they are not good at all.

Jeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Jeez.

We already have enough inter-continental missiles aimed at Russia to blow them off the face of the planet.

How much money does the US need to spend on defense, anyway?

####### does ACORN have to do with a missile shield?

Well, it's a waste of money. We don't need ground troops in Afghanistan. If there are terrorist camps,

bomb them from the air. If there is a terrorist in a village, wipe the village off the map.

Uh, actually Danno, the US of A is not the only country concerned with this, I know Ukraine is and many other former Soviet countries, they would much rather have democracy and USA as ally than Russia.

Sure Danno Russia will try to return the favor, but why now, why have they not been doing it until Putin came on the scene, hello wake up, it is Militant state run by former KGB now, and everything Russia does now is just like during cold war. And they are now testing and pushing to see just how far they can go before anyone marks a line in the sand and dares them to cross it.

And you say Russia has paid a heavy price by letting enemies get too close and form a ring? Curious when was the USA their enemy I thought the Russia you speak of was the USA friends, but now you prove me right and now you see why it is even more important to stop Russia's advances head on, which can and should be and why we need a missile shield now more than ever. WHAT ABOUT THE HEAVY PRICE ALL THE FORMER RUSSIAN SOVIET COUNTRIES PAID BECAUSE OF MOTHER RUSSIA???? Do you know how many millions Stalin had killed, his own countrymen and women not to mention the millions he deliberately starved to death in Ukraine! I guess Russian history tellers failed to mention what they did to these countries close to Russia, they just invaded them all after WW2(Great Patriot War) and used them as serf states and as buffer countries of real estate to protect against an invasion of Mother Russia, like they ever give a damn about any of the countries they so brutally ruled for those 45 years! Make me puke, Russia should have left all those countries after WW2, and went to their own borders but no, not so. You ever visit Poland and ask them what they think of Russkies? It bothers them I can tell you and they border Russia.

You think you would rather support USSR rather than USA, interesting Danno. You are letting your Russian feelings cloud your judgment here. Why do you think Russia should be allowed to give nuclear weapons to admitted enemies of the USA? Why is that ok with you? AND I can and will blame Russia if they arm Chavez and there will be a dear price to pay.

Ok let me see, Russia you think is ok to arm Iran and now Venezuela? Ok then it is perfectly ok for USA to arm any former soviet country ally of USA don't you think? I see you think it is ok for USA to pull out and turn tail but not for Russia? Why is that?

It is the USA business and Russia is making it our business when they play games with natural gas and other resources or when they invade innocent countries like Georgia or when they threaten democracies or the USA with sending arms to our own back yard as Medved says. Only the strong survive in dealing with Russia, not the weak like Ovomit.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

True, why waste the money or men, they would better served stationed in Georgia or Poland or Ukraine or Columbia or Iraq dealing with Iran or Venezuela or Russia! :star:

Then perhaps Curious George and Darth Cheney shouldn't have funnelled the bulk of the US military into Iraq.

Bad chess players, as I said.

Also a waste of money - but at least Iraq has oil, so one could argue it was a strategic chess move.

Afghanistan has nothing.

It has oil, but we're not drilling it.

The first foreign exploration operation was set up just recently. It's Chinese.
