Open your eyes to what is going on here. Point one, if USA wants these Eastern European markets and countries to succeed as new young democracies then yes we shall have to help and protect them from Russia threatening to invade them again and take over. Otherwise what is to stop Russia? I mean do you consider with holding supply of natural gas to all of Western Europe and Ukraine now for past 4-5 years and raising prices 10 -20 times what it cost year before when there is no shortage at all? Do you consider invading Georgia ok? Do you consider threatening Ukraine with invasion and border disputes and ownership of Black Sea Fleet and port of Svestapol? I mean the list goes on and on? There is a very good reason the USA should be involved.

Point two, if Russia were to try and install missiles in Cuba so what? They are already sitting off the USA coastlines with nuke subs already all the damn time, so which is worse? No difference and no matter they are already here again. Like I said open your eyes to what is going on with Russia? And do you think it is ok for Russia to sell arms on black market through Victor Bout all around the world and to US allies so they can fight the USA and their Allies.
