FBI Check ??

OK so I got two e mails saying m,y card production was ordered.One on 09/09/ and one on 09/14...........then last night at 9.45pm (USCIS working late ?! LOL) I receive an e mail saying my EAD has been approved and they mailed a Notice of that on 09/16.

NOW,if they order the production of the card I assumed THAT is the approval for it seeing that ah well why order card production when the EAD is not approved???

SO...I was confused last night.Then Hubby tries to be smart (he IS smart but we all know men when they think they KNOW something),and says that more than likely they order the card ,wait for FBI Clearance as it FBI Check being done and coming backl and THEN approve the EAD.

Now sorry doesnt make sense to me........

ANyone who has a clue whether Hubby is right and EAD doesnt get approved until FBI Check done and cleared or whether Wifey wins the dinner out cause she (me ) is right and the FBI Check isnt done until just before the Interview.

Please let me know,have until 5 pm to get the answer or I lose my bet and have to cook whatever Hubby wants .(which- I LOVE to cook but he will come up with something with no Veggies and this horrible Lime spice Marinade and seeing that I lost a bet I have to not only cook that but heck eat that......)

Well sounds like someone is in for a nice dinner (just not sure who) because am not certain an FBI name check is part of the EAD approval process.

Card production ordered (and EAD approval notices) means it's approved and you should be receiving the card any day now.

There have been people reporting their EADs were held up for security clearance, but its very rare. People who were tracked in the FBI namecheck thread gfot their EADs and often a second.. then a third as the years went on while waiting for the greencard to be approved.
