Your replies reaffirm my perception that you dont like me as a immigrant came to this earth for just a stupid GC and how sad that you have no idea what is going on in my Marriage !!! residency status is not what i am looking for, I am looking for someone to love me and care about me I did not know that my wife has a mental disability and taking medicine..!!! No body told me that before ( her mom and dad ) She can kill me anytime and she has been at the hospital many time trying to kill herself.

what happened that day is she called the cops on me for no reason just because i don't wanna go to the cinema with her and her friend ( i am death serious ).

when the cops came she showed them her arms and told them that i beat her which is lie ( she always beats herself and trying to kill herself - i still have all the records from the hospital ) so she lied then, the cops did not listen to me and they took me to the jail, after a 1 hour she comes to the police station and she told them that she is sorry and she did a big mistake by telling the cops the lie.., the cops told her its too late now and I have to stay till tomorrow to see the judge.

the jugde told me that i have a harassment 2nd physical contact which is mean i have to stay away from her : no contact, no emails, no phone calls, no letter, ect..

I did not pay any fee or anything i went to my friend s house. The same day because she was mad at the judge ( what she did is a crazy thing she crashed my car, i still have the police rapport ) they took her to the hospital but she was fine and of course we lost the car ( big accident ), she was calling my cell phone a million times but i was scared i could not answer her .., just a friend who told me about the accident !!!

I had to stay with my friend for almost a week because I was waiting for my court date.., finally the judge told me that I am fine and I can come back to my wife but I have to make sure nobody will call the cops on me in 6 months.

I am back home now with my wife but I still scared because she may call the cops on me anytime, as I said she has a mental disability , she is beating almost everyday for no reason ( I am death serious ) and I have marks all over my body and I have pictures.

All her friends know that she is not normal and they cant believe that she is married they keep telling me that I should be careful !!!! I came to America because I love her not because of the GC but I can see that I am not lucky..!!! that is my story !!!!

So now I know that I have to answer the question number 7 – Part 3. Additional Information About You in the form I-751.

Of course my answer will be YES which is mean I have to provide a detailed explanation.

My 2 years GC will expire soon and what happened to me was last week, my wife wants to help me now but we don't know how ??

What mental disorder does your wife have? It is URGENT (if not done already) for her to seek some help from some mental health professionals. There are many ways to get free help and especially if she is hurting herself and you, she will definitely be qualified. I'm telling you this as a RN (nurse) that has dealt with family members of severe depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorders...

If she already has help, it's very important that she take her medications and on time--while being overseen by a health care professional. If you can't afford them, there are government programs to help cover those costs; it's especially as she is causing herself and others harm.

Take care of you and your wife. This is hard stuff . I wish you two all the best.

as they are asking in the form if i have been arrasted or not ?? my answer will be YES then its not good for my application..., People here are talking about deportaion - how i am gonna get deportation if i am married to a US Citizen ??

I can't help you with the form as I'm still very new to immigration myself, but I'm betting that it would help a great deal if you got a letter from her psychiatrist about her condition and a letter from the police stating that she had lied to them about the domestic violence. If you can afford it, it might not be a bad idea to get a lawyer too (though this, I really have no idea; just guessing).

Did you read what I posted? You will have to obtain letters from the court saying that charges were not filed. You can get these at the county that you were arrested at by going to the county clerk. Ask her to notarize them with a court notary and normally they are really good about that. They may charge you a small fee for the paperwork, but you have to report the arrest on the removal of conditions. If your wife is willing to file with you then it will look better for you, but you will still need the proper documents. Take a day to stop by the county clerk to obtain records that show the charges were dropped and that no record exists of your conviction and if there is a record, that it has been cleared (ie: time served, fines paid, etc...)

This paperwork is something you must get. Please follow my advice

buddy, i don't dislike immigrants. i am married to one and have many friends that are immigrants.

if what you have posted is an accurate summation of events, then you need to follow the advise others have given you to make the system work for you one way or another, or go vawa. it's tougher for a man to vawa, so the evidence has to be good, but the system has it's provisions that are available for you to use.

if i were you, and had hospital reports with pictures of physical abuse results and medical records indicating severe mental instability of your spouse and police reports indicating filing of false charges and evidence that the car wreck was related to your spouses mental problems etc i would gather all documentation available into a big folder and walk out the door. i would then file for divorce and use the vawa route. this might mean filing an action to delay the review of 751, which others who have vawa'd can detail for you. staying with a person like you describe is going to get you into bigger trouble than you are in already, eventually.

unfortunately, unless you have enough evidence, it looks like a "he said - she said" case. evidence is king if it comes in the form of a police report, a hospital record, or a family psychologist's report. letters from friends aren't worth much, and photos of abuse results aren't worth much either if they're not included in a police report or a hospital record.

karma is just another word for the things that happen to us as a result of our own choices and behaviours. i'm sure you'll get the justice you deserve.

You always have to tell the truth on any official document/form. If you lie and they catch you, you would be lucky to JUST be deported. Jail time is a possibility.

As far as deportation... you can be deported at any point up to citizenship. It does not matter that you are married to a USC. Or even if you gave a greencard, they can still deport you.

Btw, harassment 2nd physical contact means harassment in the 2nd degree for physical contact. It doesn't mean that it happened before. It means that you physically struck your wife but did not cause her any visible phyisical injury. The cops didn't have enough physical evidence to charge you with assault (which is a lot more serious). It's not a crime, and does not go on your record. Therefore, you could answer NO to have you ever been convicted of a crime, but you would answer YES to have you ever been arrested.
