Quick question, will my Japanese fiancee also need to send a copy of her birth certificate in the I-129F petition packet I've assembled? I know she'll need the real thing in her interview at the embassy, but I've seen contradictory answerrs about including it in the petition.

Thanks for your help, as always!

initial filing is about you and proof that you have meet her within 2 years before filing. her birth certificate is not needed but will not hurt if you included, if you don't have it currently then don't wait for it, just send in the petition to start the filing.
