Ok I am signed up on the USCIS website to recive email about my wife's case. I never get any email about it. How do you guys know when your case has been touched? The case just says it is at the National Benefits Office.

last updated date field... if it changes it was touched

The date on the website changes, "last updated" will show the last time you were touched....however.

You are unlikely to receive emails regarding your case being touched.

The only email most people receive is when the case is approved and even then there are occasions where that doesn't happen.

BTW - your avatar freaked me OUT! First i thought there was an ant on the screen, then I thought one had managed to get into the screen (we have had an infestation of sugar ants lately!) I thought I was going to have to take my screen apart! :D

08/28/2009 - NOA 1 for AOS, EAD, AP

08/31/2009 - Cheque cashed

09/05/2009 - Biometrics notice received

09/23/2009 - Biometrics Appointment

09/23/2009 - I-485 Transferred to CSC

10/02/2009 - EAD Approved (card production) & AP approved!

10/11/2009 - EAD Card received

10/20/2009 - AOS approved, GC card production ordered! (53 days in total)

10/26/2009 - Green Card received - nearly 11 months to the day of our K1 NOA 1!

11/25/2009 - Started my new job!

02/26/2010 - Passed my driving test :-p

07/20/2011 - Eligible to remove conditions

2012 - Going for citizenship

09/20/2011 - Removal of conditions submitted to VSC....here we go...again!

It's been a quick and relatively painless journey thanks to tireless research, dumb luck and this community :)

DONE with USCIS for a while :)

Thanks for the info! Wife's case hasn't been touched since July but her interview is next Saturday. :blink:

lol it happened to me too, i thought it is on my screen , i cleaned the screen but it still there hanging arround i thought it can jump lol hahaha :rofl:

09/22/2009 Biometric Appointment 11:00 AM, Touched on I-485 and I-765

09/23/2009 Touched on I-485 and I-765

10/09/2009 I-131 APPROVED, I-765 card ordered

10/14/2009 I-765 card ordered again

10/15/2009 I-765 touched, AOS Approved

Case Status Online is great when it is updated, but it is not always reliable. Meryll's status was never updated after her biometrics. Even after the green card was delivered it was not updated. :jest:

Naturalization

3/23/14 - N400 package sent to Phoenix

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

xx/xx/xx - Oath Ceremony
