Good morning to all. To go to have a medical exam at the SLMCEC do I:

1. need to have an interview schedule first before I can go to SLMCEC?

2. need to bring a copy of the NVC case number or do I just say the case number to the guards/reception at the entry area of the clinic? (as we can call NVC to confirm it)

Don't wait on the embassy to send you anything or you may get old. Go to this page and learn all you need to...Call them and see if they have your package yet and set an appointment.

Go to St Lukes -- send her a copy of the letter from NVC, email or mail your choice: it's walk in so don't worry best to go Tues-Thurs to avoid rush.

We got our interview date for October 8. Thanks for your tips! They worked for me, even though me and our daughter Pippo are K3 and K4, respectively.

My husband called DOS yesterday (Sep 16) and confirmed our file was in the USEM Manila system. :D When I called the USEM call center this morning, got the appointment.

We're doing our medicals are on October 1 and 2 (Thu and Fri)! What's the best time to go?

02-23-2018: Sent N-400 Application online

02-23-2018: Date on NOA, retrieved from online account

02-23-2018: Date on Biometrics Appointment Letter (Biometrics Appointment at Jacksonville ASC on March 13, 10:00 a.m.)

03-08-2018: Biometrics complete

04-05-2018: Case status updated - Interview Scheduled on May 10, 2018, 10:15 a.m. :D

05-10-2018: Citizenship Interview - Passed English and Civics Tests, Recommended for Approval! :D 

06-19-2018: Received email and text notification: Naturalization Ceremony Scheduled; waited for letter to be uploaded on online account - it has been set on Wednesday, July 25, 3:00 p.m.

07-25-2018: I am now a U.S. Citizen!

I would suggest an early start. Others have arrived mid day and done well. It seems to be a matter of luck as to how busy St.Lukes is on any given day.

I would arrive at 7:00AM with some snacks and a light coat and plan to make a day of it. Wear flat shoes that fit well as you will be walking a lot.
