How long is it usually between a NOA2 and an appointment with the consulate?

What to expect next? All the May and before filers hating you. Otherwise, lots of congrats.

Now your case is sent to NVC. In a few days, call them to get your case number. In theory, they will email when your case is sent to the proper consulate.

As for timing and consulate-specific expectations... go to the site for your consulate or check the regional forums here. Better yet, do both.
