Timeline

Hello All now that our interview letter is in the mail we have yet to recieve it. I called the Department of State for the date of interview and it is next week. We need this letter and it has not come to my fiancee as of yet.I have requested an e-mail copy from the embassy(2x) in which I have not gotten a response

Any Advice DOS said they dont have a copy

Case arrived in Kingston August 26

Have not recieved a packet 3 but being

pro active and sent the DS 230pt1

DS 230 Pt1 sent via Tara Courier Sighned for by E. Morgan 09/03/2009

E-mailed Kingston 09/08/2009 to confirm it has been received

E mail Received Back 09/09/2009 Saying the following:

Good day,

An appointment letter was mailed out to the applicant on September 8th 2009 to the address that we have on file. The applicant should be receiving the letter soon.

Interview September 24,2009 @ 9:30am APPROVED!

Keep emailing the embassy - in the reference line, put your case # and 1st request, 2nd request,.....

wait...how did you do his medical without the interview letter?

Dec 28, 2009 ~~ Biometric Letter arrived (dated 12/15/09)

Dec 28, 2009 ~~ RFE for I-693 (dated 12/22/09)

Jan 11, 2010 ~~ Completed Biometrics

Jan 14, 2010 ~~ Sent I-693 in sealed envelope via US Priority Mail

Jan 19, 2010 ~~ Reply to RFE delivered to Lee's Summit, MO @ 5:03 PM signed for by "C BUCHHOLZ"

Jan 20, 2010 ~~ USCIS acknowledged receipt of RFE on I-485 only

Jan 22, 2010 ~~ I-131 AP and I-765 EAD approved (email notice on 1/25/10)

Jan 28, 2010 ~~ USCIS email that I-485 was transferred to CSC on 1/26/10

Jan 30, 2010 ~~ Received EAD and AP via US Postal Service

Feb 01, 2010 ~~ Received notification of case transfer via USPS

May 07, 2010 ~~ Email notification that card production ordered for 1-485

Jun 01, 2010 ~~ Greencard finally arrives w/approval date 2/23/10 (Huh??)

Done until November 25, 2011!!!

They allowed him to do his physical in Kingston with the e-mail (from Kingstonivinfo@state.gov) stating the interview letter had been sent September 8, 2009

Along with our Letter from the Bureau of Consular Affairs with case number and bar code, a copy of the NOA2

and a letter on how to reach the Department Of State (who advised me of the appointment date)

I imagine this happens quite often. My fiance never got either packet 3 or 4 in the mail.

If your email messages aren't getting a response, I recommend calling them:
