Hello my VJ friend,

I am a USC (Bangladesh origin) filed I-130 f or my wife. She lives in Bangladesh. My question is: Does she need to take the PCC to the Embassy at the time of her IV Interview or Does it need to be submitted at the NVC with her IV Application here in the US?

You folks are great. Thanks in advance!!

Send it in with the IV Application. I sent a photocopy of my wifes and stated that original will be handed over to them at time of interview, because in she had to get a District PCC (Local PCC) and the Regional PCC (Passport PCC) they wont issue until interview letter and you need the original District PCC to get the Regional one. Hopefully that made sense. Not sure how its done in Bangladesh but you need to send in a PCC with the IV App

Country to country it is different. I did send original to NVC and still get REF from them asking for original PCC at my wife's interview time. In Pakistan PCC is good for 3 months and by my wife's interview it would passed its validity time. We suppose to send original PCC to NVC but I guess it is useless as in Pakistan US Embassy Islamabad ask for PCC which is not expired. I am in the process to get latest PCC for her visa interview.
