How many photos will my fiance and I need to get from the beginning to the end of this K1 visa process

Your fiance is the U.S. Citizen? They won't need any. The Canadian will need about 6 by the time they have their interview. The instructions usually say that they should be taken 30 days prior to submitting them, so I'd hold off on some of them until just before the medical and visa interview. Especially if the Canadian plans to cut or colour their hair.

Actually that's not true. Your USC fiance needs one photo for the intial i-129f application. Then you'll need 1 for your initial peition (or possible 2, check the guides), 3 for the medical, 2 for the interview (possible 3, check the guides) and then another 6 for the AOS process that happens after you move.
