Does anybody still have their Mariage Affadavit?

Sounds like we have to create the affadavit ourselfs and I am not quite sure what all we've got to mention in the affadavit...

[about his marital status so we can get married in Germany...I am sure other countries require an aff., too?]

Are you talking about affidavits from friends/family about YOUR marriage and proving that it is legitimate? All I had were 2 friends do a little write-up about my husbands and my marriage, how we met, how often I visit, etc. If he is divorced, he needs the Divorce Decree (the legal papers).
