Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

03-12-09 sent k1 package to VSC

03-17-09 hardcopy NOA1

08-21-09 NOA2 email notice of approval

08-31-09 received hardcopy NOA2 & NVC letter

09-02-09 consular received

09-07-09 packet 4 received

09-24-09 medical at st.lukes

09-29-09 got my result of xray & vaccine PASSED ^_^ thank u lord

10-15-09 interview date ^_^ PASSED

10-21-09 Visa Received THANK U SO MUCH LORD

10-30-09 CFO certificate & sticker in my passport ^_^

11-17-09 leaving in my country (our 2yrs & 7monthsarry day)

11-17-09 port of entry (Atlanta GA)

01-17-10 we made it well, Wedding Day (Our 33monthsarry)

8/1/12: ROC window opens
9/4/12: ROC packet sent
9/8/12: ROC packet delivered to VSC
9/12/12: Check cashed
9/14/12: NOA letter received (NOA dated 9/10/12)
9/20/12: Biometrics letter received (Bio appointment 10/15/12)
10/12/12: Early biometrics walk-in

4/27/13: RFE received

6/17/13: RFE response sent

7/1/13: ROC petition approved

7/5/13: GC received in the mail.

Congrats!!! My fiance and I got our NOA2 on September 11th! We got our NOA1 on June 16th. I wasn't expecting an approval for at least another 2 months, so we were very surprised! I guess they must have done a mass approval session :) I know there's still a lot of work ahead, but one big part is done, and it feels so great!

I'm so excited I'm a mess :blush:

OMG I got the email today and looked at my case status on USCIS to confirm and yep its there!! Sept. 15= K1 APPROVED!! Thank you GOD :D:goofy::energy: We are in shock & ecstatic. I told him to start getting his stuff organized to prepare for next steps (i.e. police certificate etc.). It looks like me being so meticulous with all the paperwork in the very beginning has paid off (WITH ALOT OF LUCK). I'm SOOOO HAPPY!! One step closer to my honey I miss terribly. :wub: Speedy approval & blessings to all fellow VJ'ers.

Visa in Hand: 2009-05-20!!! Thank you god! Now I wish he would just come to the US sooner... miss him...grrr.
