Pre-Interview Forms / Items:

3. I-864 Affidavit of Support Form along with past 3 year U.S tax returns (or transcripts) and any other financial documents required.

5. Original or certified "long" birth certificate. *

7. Marriage certificate. (if applicable)

9. Police certificate(s) **

Do all these documents have to be originals? and whose birth certificate are they asking for the U.S. Citizen or the beneficiary's?

If it is the U.S. Citizens birth certificate, do i send my certificate of citizenship or my mexican birth certificate?

Thanks

Pre-Interview Forms / Items:

3. I-864 Affidavit of Support Form along with past 3 year U.S tax returns (or transcripts) and any other financial documents required. You must send in the original I-864 and transcripts that you can request online from the IRS, anything else that you may need to increase supporting income.

5. Original or certified "long" birth certificate. * Must be certified from the original (I had a Commissionaire of Oaths certify mine-you may have someone called something different.)

7. Marriage certificate. (if applicable) If you're married, you can easily get a certified copy, can order them online.

9. Police certificate(s) ** This has to be a country-wide criminal record check, and every country you've lived in.

Do all these documents have to be originals? YES or certified, other than the transcripts from the IRS.

and whose birth certificate are they asking for the U.S. Citizen or the beneficiary's? BOTH

If it is the U.S. Citizens birth certificate, do i send my certificate of citizenship or my mexican birth certificate? This is confusing. Birth Certificate, nothing else unless they ask for it.

Thanks
