I;m wonder if this should be a concern of mine since we are going through Casablanca, and my cosponosr is not a family member. Show I freak out :girlwerewolf2xn: and panick now? And what have been the experiences of those who have gone through Casa who's sponosr was not family or was family....???

Hello :) From what I've read on VJ, most of the time they don't even ask for it. Why would it matter who is sponsoring you? Afterall, you could always call the consulate and ask if they have restrictions on who your co-sponsor is... :star:

Mouds wife,

I have also read time and time again that they dont often dont ask for the 134 for k1's.

Listen,

take a deep breath and focus on what you do have, prepare it in a neat and easy to view way. You are wiggin out and thats TOTALLY understandable, but dont let it be so much that your gonna stroke out ;) when i read your latest threads i can tell your freaking and I feel for ya... breath, pray(if your into that) and prepare...thats all you can do

Just get your ducks in a row and try to relax. (F)

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

 Thanks Y's_habibitk... you made me laugh so hard brought tears to me eyes! I didnt not think it was that obvious I was wiggin!! lmao!!! "Taking your advice into account"! As we speak now, to calm my nerves, I am reprinting everything I sent to uscis (along with new evidence) so I can send that to my fiance. Im spending my time putting everything into a nice, pretty, neat lil' 'easy to view' package.... as long as Im busy doing something for this case, I'm pretty good. Its when I will run out of papers to print and things to do for it, when the waiting sets in that I will actually 'really' wig I think! lol

Im glad you got a laugh. Months before our interview I was planning on what folders to use, how to sort them and just generally nutting up about every piece of paper and photo.. I was annoyed when he rearranged the photo album that I spent an hour on LOL so i get it

Thats funny! I would die (or maybe him) if he rearranged it. I thought about what I was going to put it in last night... and thought of a nice decorative cover... but then I got to thinking, I could just see him walking into embassy with it, alot of men, looking at the 'pretty girly binder he was carrying"... lol that would be hilarious.

I don't know if Casa is requiring sponsorship information anymore but when we applied no one asked. My dad co-sponsored my husband at AOS no problems.

Our co sponsor was not a family either.

All they want to see is that they can add the support and credibility that is needed to vouche for the SO.

It is a difficult position to be in. I worried so much about that too because my family would have never considered helping for the same reasons alot are leary of.

I just thank GOD I was blessed with our co sponsor's understanding, willingness, support and well wishes.

It wouldn't have been possible without her.

IMO I don't think it is a decision to be taken lightly (and I knew that going in) and from what I understand they (co sponsor) are just as responsible and liable as the petitioner is. Although signing is free, there is always a risk that things could go sour, in which case, the dishonesty or lack of sincerity on part of the SO, would reflect back on the sponsor/co sponsor.

hey everyone i have read all that you have said on the co-sponsor and i am happy cos i have a friend who is helping me with me and my fiance with this but her husband was not happy with it my question is that she put in the application only about her not her husband and she even gave her pay stub but did not put assets or anything else is this good enough as well just to show that she can contribute or take full responsibility for him without any assests or her banking on there?????
