Evolution

Only Evolution (unless we would allow for ALL creation myths to be taught: this includes Mayans, Romans, Greek, Persian....)

No, it's a belief

I agree, Creationism could be taught, but, NOT in the science class, and definitely with all the other creationist belief systems from other cultures

Hell no. Never in Science Class. It could be part of Cultural History (pienso Area IV) or something to that effect.

0f course I believe in Creationism.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Evolution, Both (to some extent), No it's a belief.

I believe in evolution.

I also believe that only evolution should be taught in science class, but I see nothing wrong with touching on creationism... but very, very briefly in a different class.

They should stay focused on evolution. If the kids want to learn more about creationism, they can do so on their own time if they have the curiosity.

Though, to be honest, I don't even remember learning much about evolution.

So I think they need to start teaching evolution more in general.

Evolution. Evolution. Creation is a belief.

I agree that the Creation myths of many different cultures and religions should be discussed and shared but not taught as the means by which our physical word came into being and evolves. Creationism is a belief and there is nothing wrong with a belief, unless you are trying to pretend it is fact without something more than 'belief' to back it up.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I believe in a Creator. I also accept the Theory of Evolution. As a follower of Christianity, I do not see those two views in conflict at all and neither does the Catholic Church, as well as many other Christian Churches. In fact, European Christians overwhelmingly accept the Theory of Evolution. It's only in America where we have Fundamentalists who can't come to a rational compromise between their faith and science.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
