Advance Parole, multiple re-entries

I understand that when I file the AOS, I can also file an AP at no charge. My question is, is there a way to specify multiple re-entries with an AP, or do I need to file a seperate AP for each trip that I plan to make?

Here is the situation. We are planning on going to Italy in May 2010 for a ceremonial wedding. However, I would also like to be able to return home to see my family, at least at Christmas. Can I use the same AP, or do I need to file two? If I do need two, because there are two different destinations, can I use the one for visiting home to specify multiple trips, so that I can visit there more than once?

I hope the question makes sense! I am having a hard time explaining it.

Thank you!

Amy

AP will allow you to come and go (multiple entries) during the pendency of your application.

"If an alien with a pending Form I-485 requests an advance parole document, and USCIS grants it, USCIS normally issues a 1-year, multiple-use advance parole document." Emergency Travel USCIS site
