PVT PIKE you are truly a buck Private at best!

The beating was pretty bad, and not excusable on any account. I'm actually more upset with everyone else on the bus who just sat by, watched, cheered, and took pictures. I mean, the kid that was the aggressor obviously has problems, and I'm sure many on the bus knew that, but none of them coming to the aid of the kid...that makes me sick. For me, the lack of any compassion from the many is more extreme than the violence by the few. I guess some could say, "at least they didn't join in", but as was once said, "If you're not a part of the solution, you're part of the problem". I don't care if the perp was only 15, he deserves to go to prison. He's dangerous and offers absolutely nothing to society. Likewise, the others on the bus are not entirely innocent. They all (black and white) fostered an environment that allowed the perp to think the beating was acceptable in some way.

As for this idea that it's a cultural thing...####### planet are you from? What culture is more accepting of rape and violence? Please provide some research or data points or stf up. You want to talk about violent youth...what about Columbine. Was that in a predominately Black area? Was it perpetrated by the Black students? Have we ever seen anything of that scale? How many police videos have you seen with a group of Black police beating a White suspect? Turn on the show Cops, and it's easy to see a scene where some Black criminal commits a petty crime (steals a t-shirt) and ends up being tackled to the ground with a police officer's knee on his throat. Turn on the news and it's easy to see a scene where some wealthy White criminal commits a large scale crime (essentially steals the savings of thousands of people) and ends up at home with his attorneys negotiating a convenient time for him to come to the station and discuss the possibility of charges. Yeah, Black people just get away with anything in this country. It's almost as if they're invisible.

Well considering Black men in America rape women 2.2 times that of a white man, there is a start. Then lets not factor in stats from various nations in South Africa, where one in four men admit to rape. This is not a blame game or a witch hint, this is about identifying a problem and dealing with it. I would had been just as outraged of those two 16 year olds had been white clowns. What pisses me off is the double standards. Particularly amongst people who stereotypically show their face in the African America community, condemning such actions at warp speed; yes people like Jesse Jackson. Incidents like these are not random and should be treated accordingly. Had this been two Asian kids or Indian kids, I would have said that is strange.

Your also confusing class warfare for race. Money is the reason a murderer like O.J was able to walk a free man. It's the reason many rich people are able to get out of a sentence while everyone else is sentenced accordingly.

What I would like to know is your opinion on those in the poorer African community who claim that someone trying to get an education or legitimately get ahead is just being white. Or why is it so many African American dominated communities are run down? Why people from within those communities don't work as a team and clean up and improve their communities?

BY, you idea of identifying the problem in this context looks a heck of a lot like trying to villify minorities. I don't see exactly what the point of that is - except to further alienate people from one another.

Booyah.....since you are looking at things "statistically" as you CLAIM. Who commits the SICKEST crimes in America? I.E. raping of their own children, child porn, malestatation of children, listed as sex offenders, shooting KIDS in school, burning animals, etc. I am just curious and I though YOU WOULD be the best to answer this question, SINCE you appear to be the expert. Oh yeah one good point I would like to add......the most American on WELFARE receiving government assistence are Caucasian. I wonder why  . Well I am sure you will give a good answer to everyone. Looking forward to you POSTING THE CHARTS/Graphs here.

No seriously I am trying to understand people. Maybe if I can understand the community's line of reasoning, I won't have such a problem with it. Trashing an area in my opinion is totally unacceptable.

Edited by Booyah!

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Moniq, citing references is not BY's strong suit.

Yeah, I figured as much..

Hey Booyah......maybe this article will help you out. No need to thank me for the assistance.

SAY the word "welfare" and immediately the image of the lazy Black wellare queen who breeds for profit surfaces in the minds of those who have come to believe the hideous stereotype. It is a myth that persists despite government figures and authoritative studies showing that Whites overwhelmingly reap the lion's share of the dole. Social Security is the nation's largest welfare program, although many Whites prefer to call it a retirement plan. The government writes retirement and disability benefit checks to 35.4 million recipients of whom 88.7 percent are White and 9.6 percent are Black. The reason behind this shocking disparity is perhaps the most lamentable of all: The life expectancy rate for Blacks is six years shorter than that of Whites, meaning Black workers spend years paying into a retirement system only to have White retirees reap the benefits for a longer time.

Now that you mention it.... it shameful every time we see one of this "community clean-up" days around here.... you see the volunteers are nearly all white, going into poorer Black areas.

Where are all the Middle class Blacks and why aren't they taking the lead?

BY, the reasoning and the root causes have been pointed out to you time and time again. There isn't a whole lot else to say, if you're just going to ask the same question over and over in different ways.

Why even bother putting people in prison then when everything has a root cause. Funny how no other demographic gets to use this one. Including Aussies who were sent to death and actually tortured in Australia. Not just segregated and forced to farm.

Is the following acceptable causation for us Aussies to punch the #### out of every Brit we see? Furthermore, have we done so? This is just the ship to get there. Have you read about the honey on people's eyes with rat cages attached to them. Or honey on people's chests with the same deal. Lets not even start on the torture at port author.

Strange considering I am the only one in this thread to actually post 5 or 6 sources of information to back my point; compared to the zero sources everyone else used.

You keep seeing "justification" where none is being offered.

You don't change people's circumstances or indeed their attitudes by standing over them with a big stick and ordering them to behave. That's why the business of government is so complicated - and why almost any totalitarian nutcase you can care to name is the result of stupid people looking for easy solutions.

Do some soul searching Booyah.... There is NEVER ever a need for violence or HATRED. But to Sugar-coat them as you are so very good at doing creates a problem for the world. God Bless you....I will keep you and people like you in my prayers.
