According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

I am still trying to figure out what she means by that. I am assuming she means Obama.

Bring it down, BY. You're tangentializing on something that should be easy.

It really can get odd rationalizing certain things with you... what claims did I make that counteract this troubling trend? That would be news to me... as a matter of fact I believe I have agreed with you on about 6 or 7 different occasions that there is indeed, a major problem with crime in African American communities (urban). Pike has even agreed to this. Its common sense.

And furthermore... if it isn't about statistics... then please... find a source that discusses instead of using stats to 'prove' points instead of reporting them (as the stats do by definition).

There is nothing odd about it. Much like illegal immigration discussions, you two tend to shot off opinion and downplay or discredit statistics.

Again... the statistics are defined as...

Furthermore, fail to ever present any of your own to support your argument; an opinion which just so happens to be discrediting that of someone else.

Opinions are also presented here. Or are you the only party to fact that is permissible? If that's the case, state so and this dialogue is over.

Hey, that is what a discussion is all about. However, at some point you guys need to start using journals or some sort of evidence to illustrate your point. I am not saying I am right, I could be wrong. So prove it wrong.

I DID provide a very good article from Australia. Did you read it? I already did. Excellent. Its not about right or wrong, its about being accurate and on topic.

You realize this approach is no different to those who no-matter what, refuse to believe that others have a better yet more equitable health care system. Discussions and articles are mere opinions, which can be skewed and biased. Statistics are not. They simply count a set criteria; like rape.

True- they report. They do not state causation on what they report.

The one thing you two fail to address, time and time again, is why such a disparity between middle class African Americans and their disproportionate rate of crime to that of other similar demographics;

I've been asking you for that difference in your opinion from my first post to you in this thread. GO ahead in read it.

both in American and around the developed world. The closet explanation to that is pikes well the poor commit just as many crimes to in the UK. That's great but I need to see numbers.

This is a logic-based argument. You want numbers? Google them. They're there.

It still also does not explain the disparity between middle-class African American communities when compared to others. Now if you showed me that crime stats and they almost equaled other middle class demographics, I would 110% agree that the crime is truly due to the circumstances you listed earlier.

Blind faith on statistics gets you nowhere really fast. Furthermore- ARE there sufficient descriptive figures for middle class African American criminal offenses compared to White offenses at the same socioeconomic level AND with the appropriate controls to ensure that both 'kinds' of perpetrator 'communities' originate in the same socioeconomic level to avoid confounding factors in the results? I think not. Perhaps you can author this study.

At this point, I may be asking you too much- so I reiterate the need for you to be clear, concise, and short with your answers such that you do not cause confusion.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

You posted a document from AUS which explains poverty. A broad based article that does not even apply to the United States. Yet at the same time, you refuse to accept the undeniable differences between crime states of the poor in America; let alone the middle class. Furthermore, you are yet to post is anything that actually illustrates (reinforces) the number of similar offenses committed by poor individuals of various ethnicities and in other countries to that of poor urban AA. Since it's so obvious, the evidence the examples, surely must be there. Until I see evidence I am done. I am certainly not going to go look for evidence that you guys are making up. Doesn't work that way.

Much in the same way I am still waiting on you guys, 2 years later, to disprove or even prove your opinions regarding the demographic and incarceration rates of illegal aliens; looks like I'll be waiting for this too.

No, BY. The scholarly work explains the likely root causes of delinquency. Check it out, seriously.

I do find it a bit odd that just a bit back you wanted to look at similarities between ethnicities and crime across international boundaries and yet now you don't want to play fair at seeing how the common denominator, poverty, is a cause of this delinquent behavior, with actual statistical proof behind it for Australia. Please... check it out.

Wow it has been 2 years almost huh? It seems you are holding a grudge on made-up points of view...
