To all my kababayan - question regarding NBI

Hi to all my kababayan... please give me some piece of advice, i already sent all my documents to my husband a day after we received the I-130 approval and maybe because i was too excited and super happy that i didn't even noticed that i was not able to put my right thumb print on my NBI clearance.... so i was thinking to send my personal copy to him which already have my thumb print... i just want to ask if it is ok to send the personal copy of my NBI clearance to NVC? i was also thinking that he can send my NBI clearance back to me thru fedex and put my thumb print... then send it back to him... but its a little pricey especially now that we have lots of obligation... house amortization etc... thanks in advance God bless

Oct. 27, 2009 : Got interview date from NVC operator

Oct. 28, 2009 : received email from NVC (APPOINTMENT LETTER!!!!) yahooooo

December 3, 2009 : INTERVIEW 6:30am

Oct. 29-30, 2009: Medical Exam (Healthy! hahahaha)

DECEMBER 3, 2009 : VISA APPROVED!! (Thank you very much LORD my saviour)

December 8, 2009: Received VISA!!

probably it's better if u'll send your copy to your hubby, then request another from NBI (for your interview) instead of you sending it via fedex to your hubby then he sends it back to you... Too much back and forth!

Just to let you know, the consul didnt even asked for my hubby's pcc copy when he had his interview...but as always, better to be sure than sorry. I really suggest that you just request another copy..it would be cheaper that way. good luck on the journey!

2009-06-20: DS-3032/AOS Bill Generated and received via e-mail

2009-06-20 : DS-3032 e-mailed; AOS/I-864 Bill (paid online $70)

2009-06-25 : Sent In Completed I-864

2009-06-29 : IV Fee bill generated, paid online $400

2009-07-06: DS-230 cover sheet available, DS-230 mailed to NVC

2009-07-10: NVC started reviewing the DS-230 package according to AVR

2009-07-15 : Case in review

2009-07-20: Log in Failed! WOOHOO!

2009-07-21 : Case complete

2009-07-26 : NVC e-mailed an interview date for Sept.22

2009-08-10 : Case left NVC

2009-08-10 : DHL shipped file

2009-08-17 and 18 : Medical scheduled

2009-08-18: request for Interview to be re-scheduled - unsuccessful (physical file not in Manila yet)

2009-08-19: called USEM again, rescheduled date granted

2009-08-26: new interview date-- PASSED!! YIPEE!

2009-08-29: Visa in hand

2009-09-02: Seminar

2009-09-05: POE Finally after 5 years of being away from each other!

2009-09-15: SS card received. Job hunting begins ;-)

if expense is the issue, then opt for the less pricey means...and yes you can send your personal copy of the NBI, if you won't have any immediate need for it

cheaper to apply for another NBI and send it to your husband.

get extra copies, i seen a couple in USE Manila who did not get pink slip because they were requested for another copy of police clearance.
