Hey everyone...

Not to be impatient, but at what point should the USCIS Chicago Office be contacted regarding the NOA1. I notice I seem to be falling behind others, as the NOA1 for K3 has seemed to be going out quickly from the little I have seen.

6/27/06 - Confirmed receipt of Application by Chicago

7/13/06 - No NOA1 yet and no check cashed

PS... If I decide to call, what is the best method to contact Chicago and how?

Have you received your NOA1 yet? I guess you can ask about it soon, because it will have been 30 days on July 27, no?

Hey Congrats on getting that NOA! You have some relief for now knowing that your half way there.

I have not heard nothing yet from my lawyer. So I hope I have some good news by Monday.

Hey I called the lawyer and she said she has not recived any thing so then I called uscis and they told me that they barely recived it on July 13 but the good news is they said that they sent me a NOA1 on July 18. No now Im happy to have that! At least I know its in the system and we are moving right along with every one else or should I say waiting along. The officer on the phone gave me MSC number but when I type into the system it says that the case does not exist. Does yours show up? Did you have the same thing happen with the number assinged to you?

For now im just so grateful to God that they gave me the receipt number on the phone and that the NOA1 is on its way!

Yes the same thing happened to me, and according to a different post here on VJ the Application needs to be sent out to the next location before it is entered into the system. I imagine it will not be available for entry for another few weeks...
