Congrats on your approval!

I know you're an advocate for the K-3, I'm surprised the I-129F and the I-130 weren't approved together

If you want to follow the Cr-1 (which is the superior visa in my opinion) the follow the shortcuts.

Good luck!

What happens to the K3 now? I was surprised too.

Is the medical and Interview the same? Going down the I-130 route, doesn't that delay the process a little? Also my birth certificate is in USA, when NVC ask for the documents cant i just send everything then, so when I get to London they have my original birth certificate etc with them?

Best of Luck. Best wishes. Thank you.

I'm not sure what happens to the I-129F.

No, the medical is done before the interview and you will take the sealed contents of the results of your medical to the interview. You'll need your original birth certificate to send to NVC. Read the shortcuts and you'll know when to send everything in again

Good luck, congrats again.

I'm a UK citizen right now. My wife petitioned for me to come over. I got confused of how I-130 works.

an I-130 gives you eligibility to apply for a visa, that if approved, gives you upon entry RESIDENCY status (permission to live in the USA)... quite different than citizenship

YMMV

It depends on how fast you can get through NVC and how quickly your embassy in London can process the petitions.

Sorry, unless you are a US citizen, you won't be getting an American passport anytime soon. You will, if approved, be given a visa.

Good luck.

Best of Luck. Best wishes. Thank you.

Read the shortcuts I gave you, all the information, including the contact numbers, are in there.

You should plan on about 2 weeks before you get your case number assigned at NVC.
