My boyfriend well fiance now he proposed to me 2 days ago but I have my package finished already, will the people that work at the USCIS think this is weird considering I completed the petition 2 days after being engaged?? I don't want them to delay my petition.

No - thankfully it isn't their job to judge like that. Their job is to essentially make sure you've met the minimum qualifications.

  1. Both are legally eligible to marry (as in, not currently married to anyone)
  2. Have met in person within the past two years.

Presumably you guys meet those two qualifications.

It won't have any affect on petition approval but may come into play at the interview.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

If you want to get technical, we filed our petition before we became engaged (since we wanted to wait to get 'officially' engaged during a visit rather than over the phone or something, but didn't want to wait on filing.) They don't care. lol

The fact that you've submitted, or he's submitted your fiance visa means you're "engaged", whether you got a ring, or whether he formally proposed...it doesn't matter. Engaged just means an intention or promise to marry, which you've done so, by virtue of the submission of the I-129F.
